Trump asked for $2000 checks, Dems backed Trump on this, McConnell blocked it

Yes look at their claims and see what they "find" compared to what the SecState is saying now. It was not "devine" votes.

When the argument has been made many times on the thread.....yes.

Yeah, one, a tax cut....their "go to" policy. That didn't come from Trump, that came from Mitch.

    Since it's obvious that's what we're talking about....yes.

No, it's not relevant. Flights of fancy can't be relevant in the real world where the actions take place. If you believe that just because Trump believes them then the case for being "unfit for office" is proven

You should be humiliated and embarrassed with that argument.

Interesting. Now try looking at what I wrote because that's not what I said.

No. Nothing is simple in politics and the point that was made is that in certain instances the majority leader does have more power. Obama nominated a SC justice and that nomination never saw the light of day.....like it didn't exist.

What a complete joke! How does someone's 2019 income reflect financial loss suffered in 2020 due to COVID?

And why do you suppose McConnell blocked it?

Okay, but it looks like I've convinced you that it's not Russia, given that Trump armed the Ukrainians with deadly weaponry. Perhaps you didn't know that before.

Oh, it exists but that's not a policy.

''c'mon fellas, give me break'' is begging for 1 vote more to put him ahead, and that's just a single instance of illegal coercion. they refused.
that call cannot be spun as anything benign, every legal scholar of merit has roundly condemned it as highly prosecutable.

Something can only be deemed a crime AFTER it has gone to a court, and the court has ruled it a crime, correct?

Did you not say that not knowing that something is "humiliating and embarrassing" makes someone "unfit for office?"

You obviously know that Trump doesn't care what he is told.

In that case, no. I don't believe that if someone is deluded about something, it makes them unfit for office. If they are deluded about EVERYTHING, then it's another story.
