Yeah, because now it's the Republicans who are doing all the governing, & the Dems standing around w/ their thumbs up their asses. That is about the saddest thing, when the lie can't even make itself seem non-delusional, or like it is expected to fool anyone. More than a hundred bills passed by the House, that McConnell & Senate Repubs just sat on, like so much sand, minding turtle eggs. Everyone understands that the Republicans are all talk-- and not even about important things (Dr. Seuss). Meanwhile, Dems delivered Covid relief, on their own. And that reality is so much more than some people's psyches can stand, that they have to pretend it's the Republicans who are the doers.

Like on medical costs, look at all the GOP has done over the last 30 years...Or on all that great infrastructure that Trump promised, but which it will be the Dems who deliver. And then it will be the, "Democrats' fault," the Republicans couldn't get it done (cry baby GOPers). And by accomplishing what Repubs promised, but couldn't muster (like a medical insurance plan), it will be claimed that Dems were doing something bad for the country. As if it weren't enough that the Republicans are totally impotent, their supporters have to talk about them like they were studs. Oh, yeah, big boys, you gave so MUCH to the country last year, we could barely take it without screaming.
