When a citizen actually has a problem with police, how many of you will engage in an angry outburst? Watch this man filming his problem with the Houston Campus police. He was removed from a public sidewalk and in handcuffs walked onto the campus into the cops offices and harassed. Who thinks this is wrong, aside from me?
O hell no. It goes along with your own signature line. Liberals don’t care what you do, as long as it’s compulsory.
I think it is wrong to demand identification, unless there is a reason. The problem is there are so many countless laws, there very possibly could be a reason that the person might not realize. Not all people who are walking outside even carry identification with them anyway. Sometimes people might be jogging and it might just be too uncomfortable or difficult to bring their keys and wallet with them. The police could easily lie and say there was a reason to demand identification when there really wasn't. It will likely be near impossible to prove the officer had lied. I doubt though police are going to press the issue if someone is wearing obvious exercise clothes and claims they did not bring their identification with them. Or if someone offers to empty their pockets to show they do not have a wallet with them. The officer might demand the person provide them with their name. Even that can be a trick though, because officers might arrest them anyway and then, if they gave a false name, now they do have something to charge them with.
