Uhhh...no. Trump stuck Nancy Berryhill in there as "Acting" and she stayed there for more than 2 years as the "acting" until the GAO ruled her being there was violating the Federal Vacancies Reform Act. He never even tried to get her confirmed.

Carolyn Colvin, who was the acting prior to Berryhill, was at least put up for confirmation but the GOP Senate would not even hold a vote on her.

How do you not know these things?

True, they went up 80% while the CPI went up almost 200%. Meaning wages were actually down, not flat when compared to inflation.

Yes why should a stock shelver be paid more now than 20 years ago adjusted for inflation? And average folds should share in the increased wealth to have that wealth for their retirement just as I did. And my two Marine sons and my Marine Daughter in Law never raised their fingers at me during their many deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan but just might do it to you. In 1964 when I had a car tires lasted 12,000 miles, engines had to be tuned every 10,000 miles and then didn't last nearly as long now. TV's cost WAY more than what you pay now. In 1973 when I made minimum wage it was $1.90/hr and that's what shelve stockers made. That's $12.12 today. In 1964 it was $1.15 that would be $10.11 today.

Do you believe the standard of living for middle and upper class is lower today than in 1980? 120% lower?

I think the standard of living for the poor and middle class it lower today than it was in 1980. The pay for the upper class has grown a far higher percent than the rest.

Based on what? And DUH yes those at the top can only go higher. Why would you expect entry level jobs to expand as fast. Again why would the job of stock the grocery store shelves pay more today than in 1980 adjusted for inflation? Is the job more valuable to the employer?

Well, maybe diapers, but no maturity. As for being a "Uniter"? He appears to be uniting the Country against the more extreme authoritarian elements of some of the Left's positions:

BLM and Trump Supporters Standing Shoulder to Shoulder in Unity Against Oppression.
None of this "crowds of dozens" crap from the Fake News who promises "thousands" and then tries to spin it when only a dozen or so show up."
""Us, American flag waving Trump supporters, but we are out here with BLM" said one of the speakers outside of Barclay's Center after barricades were pushed through, he also said to stop giving stage to racism to avoid division."

The authoritarians within the Left deliberately sow division laying down smoke to conceal their grift, graft and incompetence.
