Because you can't. Your assertion was bullshit and you cannot substantiate it.

The deflection is bringing up 1/6 ad nauseum in every thread. This thread is about antifa celebrating a murdered cop. Tell me, who deflected from that?

One-Six was certainly nauseating, I don't see how it can possibly be brought up often enough. How many cops were beaten, in attempted murder with OUR Flag, that day

You have yet to demonstrate it is bullshit.

Why are leftists always running away from their positions? They actually defund the police and then claim they don't want to. They actually open the border and then claim they don't want to open the border. They actually teach CRT in schools and then claim they don't.

    Why is that?

So, they were protesting the DNC Stimulus package? You know the one that bailed out the Banks and Mortgage companies? On Wikipedia, it states the movement was about the amount of money that the 1%ers make. Now, that is along the lines of what you stated, but no one is giving them money. They earn it. On the Wikipedia page for Occupy Wall Street, it shows a graph. That graph shows a steady climb from the 70's until it topped out in 2007 at 21%. Then it began to drop. Probably because of the mortgage bubble bursting that happened at the end of the Bush, Jr. Administration. The chart ends before 2010. I then researched what it is today. I found a source that puts the percentage at 32% in 2017. That means that during the Obama Administration, that number climbed by 11%. Could that have been
all that money that the Obama Administration gave them?

BTW, if you visit the About Us | OccupyWallSt.org you will see that the movement was founded by a magazine called Adbusters. That organization is not even located in the US. It is located in Vancouver, BC Canada. Now, if you visit their website, scan down to second paragraph of section 4, you will find "What does Occupy stand for" There are three source documents shown there, but two no longer exist. Here is the third source document. You will have to read it for yourself, because you would not believe me.

    Male bovine excrement times two!!!!

I think that the real question is: Why do Democrats support organizations that are claiming that they do not to support the Democrats?

I'm happy to engage, Kal, as you seem to be very reasonable on this issue. The issue of 'insurrection' comes from the purpose of the riot. What they intended to do that day - which was to stop the certification of an election. While there were people calling out to hang Pence, I certainly don't believe they would have done that had they found him.

Occupy Wall Street was whining about income inequality, while the Tea Party was against Big Government. Not, the same thing!!!!

    I don't know. How many?

I do know that no one has been charged with attempted murder.

Only about a quarter (27%) of Americans support the “defund the police” movement with white Democrats (50%) being the most supportive.

    From your link:

Yet, many aspects of police reform that are part of “defund the police” have clear majority support. Three in four Americans (76%) support moving some money away from police budgets and reinvesting in officer training along with funding local programs for homelessness, mental health assistance, and domestic violence.

Beyond the question of how law enforcement should function, other police reforms win decisive majorities as well. Over three-in-four people (78%) support community oversight in policing, specifically oversight that involves community members sitting on police commissions to provide that check. 89% of Americans are behind officers providing their badge number, name, and reason they are stopping someone.

This data makes clear that the American public is broadly supportive of changing how the police function in communities, including reducing their budgets. However, at the same time, most people are hesitant to embrace a wholesale dismantling of local police departments.

This is a complete departure from the shape police reform took just two decades ago.
