I didn't say they were "wrong". I said that the left supports government management of both wherein the right is largely opposed to government management of those entities. The U.S. did just fine without both for many years.
Trump was a pro-American and pro-American-worker president. The left hates Trump because he doesn't serve the interests of the party.
There is largely no such thing as the "moderate" left, at least not anymore. The "moderate" left used to support U.S. workers and believed in legal immigration and opposed illegal immigration. The new left supports policies that are harmful to American workers and now supports open borders. men in little girl's showers and letting transgenders serve in the military. The old left is rolling over in their graves over what the new left has become.
There may indeed be some truth to that. They may have viewed Hitler as a safer choice than the German communists. Still, neither Hitler nor the Nazis ever received a majority of votes, in fact, not even close to a majority. Mainstream Germans apparently rejected both Hitler and the communists. Sadly, the Nazis nevertheless attained power and the rest is awful history.
You wouldn't know it on how they vote. The border situation was NEVER better than it was when Trump left office. The Biden Regime completely destroyed that status. Nobody on the left is complaining about the border disaster that the Biden Regime created.
Because transgenderism is a mental disorder and they are mentally ill and unfit for service. They are also a major distraction to other military members.
Fascism is a rightwing ideology. Fascists do not push capitalists around, but instead build their political base with the support of capitalists who fear socialists will take over and collectivize production. Nazi Germany functioned as a market economy prior to WW2.
Socialism is collectivized production. There is no "textbook definition" of workers having "equal ownership." German capitalists supported Hitler because they were afraid German socialists would take over businesses. German business supported Hitler because he opposed socialism. They would have supported a democratic government if one had been strong enough to deal with the socialists. Half-baked nonsense where you're trying to shoehorn fascists on the left simply because they're antidemocratic. They draw in capitalists who fear socialism.
Germany did what we do--pay business to provide government services. They were willing to put up with the Nazis because the socialist alternative would have been the end of their business. Obviously, it would have been unwise to tell a dictator to "**** off."
Fascists do not oppose a market-based, private ownership economy--that's what makes them attractive to capitalists who prefer democratic governance.
You're not replying to my comment correcting your incorrect claim (see above). The Nazis didn't even put the German economy into full wartime status until Hitler appointed Speer as Reich Ministry of Armaments and War Production in 1942. Try as you might, you can't move fascists to the left side of the political spectrum. Democratic governance rests in the political middle, not on the extreme left or on the extreme right.
Nah, of course not--you just called that and free education a "leftist concept." No, you said they were a 'leftist concept' and now you're talking about control. Some countries have privatized universal healthcare--like we have in Medicare for seniors. In your opinion. We brought in Medicare because we weren't "just fine."
We can quibble over whether or not the was "pro-American," but he definitely not "pro-American-worker." The left dislikes Trump because he's an anti-worker racist who opposes doing something about climate change.
