Your standard applies to objecting to baking cakes, right?

I think the most negative effect is that it sends a message to the youth that living your life and defining yourself by sexual desires is okay. In effect it essentially makes being a perv okay.

You now have people that will openly defend a guy in a woman’s locker room with swinging junk in the air and all right in front of children. The LGBTQ community has made indecent exposer a debatable topic and that’s sad.

This is not a response to this: "So there aren't religious objections, unless the Bible says that something should be objected to?"

Your "there's nowhere in the Bible that it says" argument. It applies to baking cakes, right?

I don't know what you're driving at and I'm not answering questions until I know.

So start being honest or be prepared to be stonewalled.

That's funny that you don't know what I'm driving at, given that in reply to this:
    You said this:

Well I know you're trying to pull some immature gotcha nonsense and I'm not going to give it to you because that's not a valid discussion if you want to do that go find someone else to play with.

I just love how people refer to scrutiny as "gotcha!" Clearly I have caught you being inconsistent and you don't like it very much! What even IS "gotcha?" I've never really known. Seems like a big excuse!

It isn't scrutiny. You haven't caught me being inconsistent that only exists in your head.

If you don't know something you should look it up that's how you become educated instead of just asking people to look it up for you.

That it isn't against ones religion to make a cake for someone else if they are a baker?

    Seems pretty obvious.

Based on the fact that the Bible does not specifically say that Christians should refuse to bake a cake for a same sex wedding?

    No not based on that.

Never understood why you clutch onto that strawman so desperately.

    Because it's true.

I take no responsibility for your straw man fallacies

Yes, along with MANY things that the Bible does not outlaw! And if you only apply your standard to this one thing, then that sure is convenient!

Well who doesn't seem to be a religious basis for the objection then does there?

    So it's an excuse.

Why don't you find me some religious grounds to object to making a cake for somebody of course assuming the cake is just a normal cake.

Why is it there's only religious ground to object to making a cake for a wedding?

Why couldn't I say I don't make cakes for gay birthdays?

It's equally rational any argument you can make for not making the wedding cake would apply to the birthday cake cuz it's just a cake.

Then there is also no religious objection to burning the Bible.

I don't know I don't know what the hell a gay marriage is, gay people don't get gay married they don't have gay birthdays they don't gay drive cars they don't have gay graduations.

Making distinctions without difference is idiotic.
