Correct, a Christian or a Jew could not claim a religious objection to YOU burning a Bible.

Elijah the prophet commanded a drought that lasted 3 and a half years. He was drinking his water from a brook, but that too went dry. So God told him to find a widow in a specific town to sustain him.
He arrived there tired and dehydrated, and when he asked the widow for food she announced they were down to the last grain, intending to make one last mean then slowly starve to death.
Elijah said,
"MAKE ME A LITTLE CAKE FIRST"
She did and the meal multiplied, allowing the 3 of them to eat every day until the famine ended.

 

forgot to mention the last time gay marriage negatively affected my life.
About 4 weeks ago I visited the Arnold Arboretum, a plant sanctuary I spent a lot of time at in my youth. My last stop was atop a big hill I used to climb and use for sledding in the winter. I was very tired and planned to stay a long time. Soon after I arrived a straight couple became engaged. Everyone applauded and took pictures.
I left when 2 young men on bicycles showed up.

Yes Cybred, I might be the only person alive who would leave a blissful setting prematurely on the slight chance that 2 men would become engaged to each other. However equally remote possibilities keep me from working during a tropical depression, taking a short boat trip anywhere, visiting certain parks, traveling through certain neighborhoods and other basic activities.
20 years ago I would not have left because there would have been no chance 2 men would get engaged for a lawful marriage. 50 years ago it would have crossed no one's mind that they might be homosexuals. That was better.
So the existence of homosexuals is one of many things that make my life unpleasant, as is the atom bomb, air pollution, world hunger, cigarettes, alcohol and many other things. Unlike some of those things, it is getting harder and harder to avoid hearing about.
