It reads: Black male offenders received sentences on average 19.1 percent longer than similarly situated White male offenders during the Post-Report period (fiscal years 2012-2016) So your claim of "Nothing in that USSC page about racism!" is utter total nonsense. You're just lying. Point stands that I proves systemic racism, with all my sources.
Go explain to all of us why it's not racist that a black person gets a longer sentence then a white person in a similar situation.
I never claimed that it's not racist. I just said that there no evidence that it's racist! It might be! Again, I'm sure that there is some racism in the system.
I asked you to explain how this is not racist / evidence of racism when black people get longer sentences than white people under the same circumstances. And you're not explaining a thing. Therefor your opinion is unfounded that there is no racism. And so my point stands that I proves systemic racism.
Why would I explain how this is not racist, when I never made that claim? I just said that there's no evidence that it's racist! It might be! Again, I'm sure that there is some racism in the system. In fact, there could be ALOT of racism in the system!
I sourced and quoted how people of different skin colors are treated differently under the same circumstances. That is exactly what racism is about. We all know this fits the defnition. It's even systemic racism. And when you deny it's racism, then you need to explain yourself. You're not explaining jack. So all you got is a dumb irrelevant opinion.
Female offenders of all races received shorter sentences than White male offenders during the Post-Report period. In the minds of prosecutors, Black male offenders were deemed the most dangerous group, while female offenders got off lightly in line with general gender or racial stereotypes that hold sway over prosecutors.
Exactly, it's on average. Which doesn't mean racism. Your source doesn't mention racism in sentencing. Simple!
I note that you are refusing to say if you mean that EVERY SINGLE black person gets longer sentences than white people, or if you mean ON AVERAGE.
I cannot answer you because I don't know if you mean that EVERY SINGLE black person gets longer sentences than white people, or if you mean ON AVERAGE. If you mean every single black person, then you're wrong. If you mean on average, then yes, you're correct, but that doesn't mean racism.
You can read the report at your own discretion. And I'm not seeing you motivating your opinion. And so I proved systemic racism. It also seems you expect systemic racism is just like apartheid, where a 100% of people are always treated different based on their skin color. While the thing is that systemic racism is not just like apartheid.
Disparity in sentencing does not mean racism! Simple! Your United States Sentencing Commission source doesn't mention racism!
My reply to post 1304: "I never claimed that it's not racist. I just said that there no evidence that it's racist! It might be! Again, I'm sure that there is some racism in the system." http://www.politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/race-and-crime.575947/page-53#post-1073257401
I already replied to that / you've gone full circle... and my point stands that I proved systemic racism.
Yes, you replied: But that's a claim which I never even made! Why would I explain how this is not racist, when I never made that claim? I just said that there's no evidence that it's racist! It might be! Again, I'm sure that there is some racism in sentencing. In fact, there could be ALOT of racism in the system! However, nothing which you have provided has even MENTIONED racism in sentencing!
I sourced that black people are sentenced harsher then white people under the same circumstances. That is the evidence right there. And you can deny all you want, but you fail to explain why. So my argument stands.
