Oh .. I'm sorry.. Itho't this was a joke thread.. I have no idea how "curry" could be racist.. in fact the very implication of such is ridiculous beyond noting to sane people.

When the word 'curry' is used, those using it are doing so to indicate a flavour. They're not even thinking about bloody India - any more than you are thinking about China when you decide to eat rice, or Germany when you eat Wurst.

    Exactly. HER issue.

People are going to people, the world over. She needs to make peace with it, and along the way needs to spend some time asking herself why she hasn't condemned Indian people for their 'generic' terms for Western foods.

You keep saying that but can you give me some examples of their generic terms for western foods? I am not really familiar with the language.

It's not even remotely relevant. ALL cultures tend to have pet names for foreign foods they have some familiarity with. It's universal.

It is kind of relevant when you bring it up multiple times. It is easy to just say well they do the same thing too so it is ok. She gave you a specific example of the issue.

Pet names for food is not the issue. She says there are dishes that have curry in the name that she has no problems with because they refer to specific dish. Like Thai green curry. Her issue is the broad classification of multiple dishes under an umbrella name that the culture normally thinks of as being separate.

This thread wouldn't have gotten this long without its clickbait title.

Her whole premise is absurd. She has an issue, which SHE needs to get over. This sh!t happens everywhere.

Once again the over use, and incorrect use, of the word 'racist' puts this into the yawn category.

Are you going to apologize for saying I am mutilating my body?

The 'woke' faction will tell you that EVERYTHING that White people think, build, write, do, and speak is RACIST! Sure, "curry" is racist, along with about 50,000 other things that the wokesters have discovered that 'Whitey' needs to be ashamed of.... :cynic:

But, take heart! They also know the answer and the cure for all this RACISM -- all it takes for the non-White population to shell out "REPARATIONS" in unspecified, unlimited amounts to Blacks. That will fix everything and we can all 'get along' afterwards!

What? "Curry" didn't originate among Black tribes in Africa?! That's just a dirty RACIST myth, designed to cheat Blacks out of the credit they deserve for having invented everything of any worth or value in the world since the beginning of human history!

    This statement

"Hormones cannot turn a male into a female of vice versa PERIOD. Not even bodily mutilation can turn a male in to a female of vice versa. It can't do it anymore than calling a male "she"."

Of course not, mutilating your body cannot change you from a male to a female or vice versa any more that this can turn you into a cat

    upload_2022-2-24_20-41-3.png

and I have no idea what you choose to do to your body but if you are cutting parts off or trying to create fake ones I have no problem with my statement.

    Definition of mutilate

    transitive verb

1: to cut up or alter radically so as to make imperfect the child mutilated the book with his scissorsa painting mutilated by vandals
2: to cut off or permanently destroy a limb or essential part of : CRIPPLE His arm was mutilated in the accident.
