He was Hunter’s fellow board member on the Burisma energy company, for which Hunter was making $83,000 per month, even though he knows nothing about energy and doesn’t speak Ukrainian. Do you have a source showing Biden is considering pardoning him because the sourced article you cited doesn’t make that leap.

Let me just say that if you stole 60 million, you would have been in pre trial prison from the day of your arrest, and would be sentenced within three months starting a 35 year term.

I have never understood this line of thinking. A huge part of a politician's job is getting out among the people, being seen, being heard, getting questioned, etc.. Therefore, there are going to be photos of them with people they may have met briefly or even socialize with but that doesn't necessarily mean that they are "keeping company" or "BFFs".

I believe that it's unethical to try to create some kind of "unholy" alliance between people SOLEY because they are photographed together. I doubt you or anyone on the planet has **NEVER** taken a photo with someone with whom you are no longer in contact or didn't even particularly like so this kind of disingenuous characterization is strictly designed to fuel some agenda.



Further, it is very telling when this is done strictly for one side and ignored on the other. If we are going to defend this type of mind game, we should be able to stand behind it across the board.


* Biden was photographed with a guy that was in the KKK.

* Trump was photographed with Maxwell and Epstein.

* Obama was photographed smoking pot with some college friends.

* Clinton (he's a wild card sex maniac so...) lol.

* Baby Bush did some Matrix move when a guy lobbed his shoe at Bush's head.

* Fauci was photographed with a Chinese woman and a Chinese man (two different photos) said to be linked to the Wuhan Lab.



Finally, one of the arguments I constantly read here is that requiring Voter IDs is not racist as it assumed that non-white people in largely non-"R" districts are stupid. This is not the concerns that some of us have about the barriers some of them face in getting Voter IDs.

However, along those exact same lines...It is clearly being assumed that the reader of these type of posts are going to immediately jump to the conclusion the poster is hoping they will make without further evidence or questions and, admittedly, some people do which is why it's such a good tool to fuel derision and division. But, that still doesn't make it true or ethical.

I'm not a Trump fan. I'm actually not a politician fan period. Trump said "'They' (whomever he is scapegoating in the moment) are going to take your country from you." At the time he was POTUS he was referring to all the second class citizens in the US.

I argue that We, The People, are making this come true by continuing to fight amongst ourselves while our enemies (true enemies, not Americans on the other side of the political ring) are watching from the shadows.

Why are we (not just you) uninterested in being open and honest without playing these kind of mind games?

Why can't we talk about the reasons that we hold our political beliefs without assuming everyone that doesn't share those is stupid or mentally impaired in some way?

Why can't we move beyond this tactic and focus on the things that really matter? If we can, HOW do we do that?

You're the one who made the statement about the company one keeps. I simply made an observation that few are squeaky clean in that area - which isn't even remotely akin to running from it. Nor did I suggest that Biden (or Obama) we untarnished.

 

People that steal that kind of money are typically already very wealthy or connected and receive very light fines totaling a small fraction of the ill gotten gains. That isn’t so much an issue with either party as it is our entire judicial system.

It is a different accusation however to state that the president of the United States of America intends to pardon someone.
