Colorado clerk is indicted for election tampering and misconduct

It looks like election security in the general election in Colorado was breached after all.

"A grand jury has indicted a Colorado county clerk, Tina Peters, and her deputy on a laundry list of charges related to an election security breach in her office last summer....."

She's also running for public office. This might have an effect on her campaign.................

It almost sounds like what she did that she was punished for was leaking data to try to expose evidence of voter fraud.

Does anyone else see this? That article says nothing else about what this woman actually did that constitutes fraud.

But maybe what she is being accused of doing is inadvertently revealing passwords that could be used to commit fraud. Even though those passwords were needed to prove the evidence she was leaking.

Illegality and being wrong are not always the same thing.
