Well yeah..... It's kind of like a muscle car or a motorcycle they're pretty cool!

What dude does not admire a well-built machine? How else do you make a piece of lead go from 0 mph to 700 mph or better in a fraction of a second?

Look, I've been to some Southern Baptist churches. Those people are armed to the hilt. Your average mass murderer who went in there to shoot up the place would probably only get off two shots before being immediately gunned down. Most likely from multiple people.

Now as for schools, will you admit that turning schools into "gun free zones" was not the answer?
Now some schools are in such bad areas they have to pay for a permanent police officer with a gun to be on duty. You don't find that to be totally silly?

~ Not to worry ... As the U.S. moves towards totalitarian government policies owning firearms will no longer be a freedom. Less homicides. Less " mass shooting ". Less freedom ...

People are being murdered by other people. The gun happens to be the tool.

And therein lies the problem with gun huggers logic, any attempt to address guns in America is seen as “an effort to make sure that only outlaws have guns.” So to address what they see as the problem, everyone should have a gun, the more guns, the safer everyone is

Currently, America has more guns out there then people, more than any other developed nation in the world, and yet, America has the highest number of gun deaths in the world, considerably more than any other developed nation.

Comparing the rates of gun deaths between gun free and gun restricted States just further verifies the fact, more guns equate to more gun deaths, having guns readily available leads to more gun deaths, and the last thing it does is “make sure only outlaws have guns”

Really, like what, and don’t say hunting, hunters don’t buy semiautomatic weapons to go hunting

Pissed off husband, scared wife, family beef, etc., point being a gun readily available makes all that much easier, common sense

If rural areas have low per capita murder rate why do more rural States have higher rates of gun violence?

Right, but without that tool people wouldn’t have such an easy time of murdering other people, Babe Ruth couldn’t have hit all those home runs without his bat

The Truth about gun control has been well documented: Gun control laws lead to more crime - especially gun crime.

“THE number of crimes involving handguns reached its highest level for seven years in 2000…

The total was more than a third up on the previous year, according to figures given in a parliamentary

written answer by Lord Bassam of Brighton, a Home Office minister.”

THE TELEGRAPH, Handgun crime soars despite Dunblane ban, By Thomas Harding,11/01/01.

    Less Guns = More Crime

    For rather obvious reasons.

Evidently you know very little about guns. Take duck hunting for instance. Semi-automatic shotgun is one of the more common ones used.

I like to take an old beer can and fill it up with water and put it up against the side of a hill for a safe backstop and shoot at it. Plenty of other people enjoy target shooting just for the fun of it as well.

Do you know how many rounds are probably fired on target ranges across this nation every day and no one was injured? I'm sure it probably numbers in the millions. Just like millions of gun owners killed no one yesterday.... And the day before that too.

You ignored my first response but here it is again. There is no reason for them wanting their guns is that they have a right to have them. They aren't claiming to be vigilantes out saving the country from bad guys with guns.

And, you also ignored my comment that "Further, nobody that carries a weapon intellectually thinks that it makes them "badder" on the streets.". Nobody.

So you want to copy the UK and outlaw knives? How about shovels, since that's a favorite for bashing people over the head, maybe machetes since those are big and do the job quickly.

If someone is inclined to commit murder, they will use any tool available. The fact that a gun can be used from a distance and not upfront and personal may be a mark against them, but in no way provides a basis of removing them from the ownership of law abiding people.

That's a new one, duck hunting, hunting ducks with semi automatic weapons, can just see the sport in that one, last I heard was squirrels, but ducks beat that one

And if gun ranges were that popular they would be out there like bowling alleys which they aren't

there's nothing to address. Having guns is not a problem. If you want to blame crime on gun owners you're being irrational.
why is people having guns a problem?
    that's great.
It's extremely evil of you to use the Dead to try and attack political opponents because they do something you don't like.

If you don't like people having guns this isn't the country for you.
So deal with crime and suicide and quit using it as an excuse to steal rights from people you don't like.

If owning it done equals gun death I'd be dead 15-20 times by now. Your entire argument the fundamental basics of it are irrational. The foundations of your argument the reason why you're making it is irrational.

99.999% of gun owners don't kill other people and don't kill themselves so you need to focus on the problem not try and make new problems that you solve with dictatorship.

The reason we have guns is to stop people like you from getting what you want.
