They chose the career and accepted the role, but there is a lot of fishy things going on on the set. You can read about it yourself.
By claiming they were victimized or they are a victim the porn stars are trying to say they had no choice.
+1 Exactly. These chicks get nude and do nasty things on film for cash and stay in the industry then complain about the very industry they chose to participate in.
They regret it and are trying to accuse people of wrong doing retrospectively instead of owning their own choices.
Women have fought for their freedom and independence. Now that they have these things they are still not happy. Be careful what you wish for. In Mexico there are bars where women are not allowed. This isn't the men's idea, it is the women who push this. Of course feminists would say this is misogynistic.....lolz!
There are a lot of accusations of fishy things but only a few I have read about which have been supported by evience. I have kept up with the girls do porn scandal which seems to be a real case where coercion and even borderline blasckmail and possibly even forced rape was used to make some porn movies. Several of the young women involved won a BIG lawsuit against the company and the federal government is pressing charges for violation of human trafficking laws, which are questionable laws to begin with but that is a different issue,. Generally however this seems to be the exception. I have heard and read interviews and accounts by porn stars both make and female who hate gthe industry and regret their participation and feel degraded by it. But I have also heard and read as many interviews by stars who are ok with it and even like their career choice. The same can be said for the fast food industry. The indiustry can clearly produce abusice people and is not for everyone. But the idea in the OP that the industry IS MISOGYNY is clearly stupid
Women want to be free to do whatever they choose yet when that happens they still complain. This day and age no one forces women to do porn and no one forces them to tolerate being treated poorly. Harvey Weinstein is no doubt a pig but I wonder how many actresses and wannabe actresses went along with his pig behavior just become an actress?
Do you feel this way about all industries in which women are exploited or is it reserved for pornography only?
Porn no more equals misogyny than agriculture and textiles equal slavery. Shall we all stop eating and be nude?
My argument would be having a society with a truckload of males with no sexual release other than physical sex, how will that play out if the women say no when propositioned? Not very good for anyone. Within good taste for the purpose of self-gratification, porn is good. Providing it's by the ones making the flicks aren't doing it under duress.
There are actually more than a few Feminist organizations out there that want to ban all porn except sex between men; and possibly sex between two women. The idea is that sex between a man and female porn actress depicts an act of exploitation and promotes it in the society. Two women may still be being exploited (by the industry and the men viewing them) but they reason that at least it does not depict a scene of exploitation. A more cynical person could comment that maybe these radical feminist women just want to be able to still view men in porn themselves, and the lesbians (of which the percentage is very high in the feminist movement) would still be able to watch females.
That's nude modeling. When I think p*** I think people having sex on film. But then again maybe that's because I'm not a prude?
