The Amish approached Covid 19 very differently.

    Covid or any dangerous one

and just cause you beat a virus doesn't even mean it's gone, look at shingles that hangs out in the body until it morphs into something new

I'm not sure of this but unless you are willing to convert and give up electricity I think you may not find the Amish at all welcoming on any but the most superficial level. They're friendly and will talk to outsiders quite readily but only insofar as they stand to make money.

~ Africa did a similar thing — Nigeria in particular — with similar results. I believe Egypt as well .

Thats npr, which is a propaganda mouthpiece for the democrat/progressives/socialists. I don't even bother with reading any npr item.

But I did wonder about the Amish and looked it up. Its a mixed story, some say the Amish are hit hard by covid, others say the opposite.

It seems a lot of Amish got sick, recovered, and the community hit herd immunity quickly and were over it. Very few were vaccinated. It reads a lot like the annual flu.

There were some deaths but I could not find actual numbers. All the doom and gloom articles cited the same statistic - excess deaths were up 125%. I am always very suspicious when all the news cites the same unexplained unattributed statistic. Sounds to me like the Amish doom and gloom side is more propaganda than truth.

they were hit hard, but due to their diet (lack of seed oils) and lack of obesity, they did pretty well and very few died

    That could be the key.......
especially if President Donald J. Trump can be encouraged to begin a whole new form of money that the Amish might just accept?????

Some folks theorize that nicotine, an insecticide in its own right back in the 50's, actually worked to kill the virus. I find that persuasive.

Really not sure it matters now. This newest strain going around doesn't seem to be affected by shots or prior infections. It also has a faster incubation period which is a mixed bag. It will spread more readily, but because people develop symptoms faster with it, they may be getting through it faster too. So far three people in my family in three different locations have tested positive and are sick and all three have been vaccinated and/or had prior infections. They are all reporting the same cluster of symptoms--fever, sore chest, muscle weakness, headaches, and head cold type complaints.

It’s also a new flu season. Maybe it’s just the flu. The fast Covid tests came back positive for flu and Covid, that’s why the cdc now calls it PIC (pneumonia influenza Covid) instead of just Covid.

    It’s all a scam.

My sister got her doctor test this morning and it came back positive for COVID. Not the other things they tested for including influenza and RSV

Sweden tried the Amish approach and lost 10 times the number of people as their neighboring countries of Norway and Finland, and economic impact was not any better than theirs. The Amish best defense is their isolation from the rest of the world.

The prc reads positive for pic. The CDC recommended it stop being used on Jan 5 2022.

But if that test was wrong, and they lied about it, why believe the other tests?
