I woke up feeling like I'd been hit by a truck. It was a sense of overwhelming exhaustion and a bad headache. After sleeping all day I finally tested myself and had two positive tests. But I seem to be over the worst of it already. I'm vaccinated and double boosted and apparently shook off the worst of it quickly.

I just spent 5 days in Vegas and can't imagine how I caught it. I was semi joking with my friends that we would probably all come back with Covid. I let them know that I have it but haven't heard back yet.

You did not have a vaccine.
A vaccine is actually useful in preventing the transmission to begin with.

Whatever. It prevents people from dying.

It doesn't prevent people from dying and it doesn't prevent them from becoming infected or passing that infection on to others. It does kill many, and maims many more.

If you actually believe the test detects infection that means you have been well indoctrinated by TPTB. :peace:

Glad you are doing better. I had it pre-vax and struggled with it for a week

I am far less scared of covid after being in the hospital with covid. My experience is they are being far to tight with the drugs available to fight covid. After spending over three weeks sick with covid it only took 3 hours in the hospital with an iv and covid medication to be feeling pretty good. The question is , if we have drugs that work that well why are they not using them quicker? Then 5 months later caught covid again was tired for a couple of days, but then just fine. As a note I was on paxlovid, which work I guess just got a metal taste that didn't go away until the treatment ended.

Glad you’re feeling better. I was double vaxxed in January-February of 2021 and then got Covid 6 months later when infections of the Delta variant were spiking up. I was 66 then. I had fever for a day and then nothing but flu-like symptoms for another 4 days. 5 days after I tested positive I couldn’t even tell I’d been sick. I hope you have just as easy a time with it as I did.

Yes I know the official narrative.... If you have to change the traditional definition of a well-known word to twist it around your BS.... It's the BS that is the problem.

The goal was to save people's lives. Do you object to doing that?

I would imagine that there were limited supplies so they were saving it for the most severe cases.

Thanks. I seem to have shaken the worst of it in about 8 hours. I could barely get out of bed yesterday but even by the evening I was feeling better. So glad I went and got boosted a couple of months ago.

I'm not sure how monkeying around with the definition of something and calling it something it's not saves lives.

You will have to forgive me if I have an inherent mistrust of this so-called vaccine. About 2 years ago my girlfriend got it and she was fine for the first shot and when she got the second shot her arm immediately swelled up like a baseball and she got a sore throat and that started turning into lumps in her throat which turned into cancer of her lymph nodes.

After going through 9 weeks of chemo and radiation for that earlier this year.... Then the cancer spread to her larynx which she just had cut out 3 weeks ago, what was supposed to be a 6-hour surgery was a 10-hour surgery because the cancer had grown so large from them dragging their feet the surgeon was at one point, uncertain if he would be able to do the surgery. In fact she is still in the hospital learning to live without a larynx.

So you will have to forgive me if I don't trust the damn thing cuz I watched what it did.

Now I know many people have told me you can't prove that the vaccine cause the cancer but I can damn sure tell you it was if not a causation it must have been the biggest coincidence in the entire universe.

The second injection triggered a classic immune response which just so happened to cause cancer in the seat of her immune system.

So you go ahead and take all the shots you want... As for me I will take a hard pass.

Interestingly enough I am unvaccinated and have not had covid.

I’m not so sure about that. Some have died that were vaccinated

Look at the statistics. But for a very small percentage, almost everyone who has died over the last year was not vaccinated.

Why do I even have to make this point? What kind of place is this? I thought this was a forum for credible discussions. It appears I was wrong.

Glad to know you feel better. Please consult your doctor and carefully follow his instructions. This may help with obviating more symptoms and particularly with Long Covid complications. None of these should bother you but why take chances?

Everyone I know here and in Germany who has had COVID at any time in the past 12 months was pretty miserable, exhausted, and fairly sick for about 3 - 4 days, then they're back to being normal in another couple of days.

Of all of them, 75% were double-vaxed and had had one booster. 25% had never had any shots at all.

Not sure what conclusion to draw from that....

~ The majority of people in the USA had Covid 19 in 2020 and never experienced symptoms — or had very mild symptoms. Why doctors did not test patients for antibodies during late 2020 and beyond is suspicious . . . :blankstare:

You don’t have to make the point. The point is already made. The vaccine does not guarantee a single thing

You probably had Omnicon which if IMO there was no Covid Industrial Complex, your comment would have been : “I must have gotten into some bad sushi”.

Unless you are talking hundreds of people (or even thousands) there is no conclusion to be drawn.

The OP, written by @Workingalways ,was personal (his/hers) and related to one person's experience... so, I responded in somewhat the same vein.

My reply was not intended to reveal a vast compendium of results of experiences from large numbers of people, so your snotty, dismissive, and arrogant brush-off was both unprovoked and uncalled for.

And a percentage that many of the vaccination fans like to ignore is the small but realistic percentage of people who are gravely injured and die because of vaccines.

Telling us that they are a statistical anomaly that really isn't significant ...... Is no succor, to those who are thusly affected and those around them.
