I do not recall anyone in NATO suggesting the use of nuclear weapons as a first strike suggestion...do you? Could you link?

NATO is supply arms and information. They do not have boots on the ground. That's a huge red line to cross. Can you supply proof that NATO is officially supplying boots on the ground?

Before you do, please exclude volunteers from various countries who are allowed to volenteer and fight of their own free will, not representing NATO or any specific country. That's not happening. If it were, Russia would be overwhelmed as the numbers would be lopsided against them.

 

What would be the proper response for the leader of a country who has been threatened with Nuclear weapons?

Putin is the only person with access to nukes who has threatened to use them. If anyone is pushing for WWIII it is him.

Well, that's part of the real dilemma, because Zelensky was the political protégé of a Kiev-based oligarch multi-billionaire, Ihor Kolomoyskyi. Nothing new about that. Zelensky himself was a TV show comedian, and, NO, there's nothing 'wrong' with that (you don't HAVE to be a slimebag lawyer in order to be an effective politician). Still, Zelensky's one-time "daddy", Kolomoyskyi, has been embroiled in very 'heavy-duty' legal actions involving corruption, and as of April 2021, Kolomoyskyi and his wife and children were banned from entering the US.

What's this got to do with an "Armageddon" that has the potential to end all life on this planet? Probably nothing... but it's a good idea to understand fully who your friends are BEFORE you give them twelve billion dollars worth of weaponry, applaud them with honors and accolades, and 'look-the-other-way' while they call for a first-strike against a country that has more nuclear weapons than any other in the world, along with brand-new 'whiz-bang' submarines, etc.

On a similar issue anyone else notice that Putin seems to be running away from his threat to use nuclear weapons by saying that it was the west who threatened the use of nuclear weapons? i think that is an indication that his "advisors" warned him not to even threaten that the nuclear option is open

You realized that your whole command-and-control methodology was crap, your tanks were crap, your communications systems were crap, your military personnel were inferior and lacked motivation -- in short, everything you had tried so far was CRAP, what would you try next?
