But the Russians have a habit of wanting to copy the Germans and they've been enamored of Frederick the Greats mighty conscripted Prussian Army

Adapt or die. Apparently, Russians have chosen not to adapt.

Putin did not talk about pre-emptive strikes, while Zelensky did.

Russia to NATO: get away from the former Soviet republics-the countries that border Russia.

If there are such idiots in White House who want to die for Ukraine, sure, they will.

Well, since so many orcs are queued up for death in Ukraine already, it's not necessary. Are you not patriotic enough to volunteer? Does love of Rodina mean nothing to you?

Correct, neither it is desparate in defending Kiev. Then what is the point to talk about the pre-emptive strike?

Sure, it is necessary to clean up the world from its tumor- all US politicians, sitting in White House. For the rest-I am not going to respond to the idiotic questions. They are not relevant here.

    Yeah, no foolin'.

I swear to God, it is so bizarre to be grasping the concept that you aren't pulling my leg, right now. For a long time, I think I just felt, all you guys were just full of crap, that you realized the arguments you were making, were 100% phony. But now, as I said, a weird veil is falling over this experience, as the probability sinks in, that you all actually believe that things, like what you replied to me, make any sense at all!

Yeah, Putin only invaded Zelensky's country, and bombed civilian targets, kids' schools and such; and sure, they're killing civilians like it's nearing the end of the season, on Ukrainians, so that we find mass graves at near every place Ukraine liberates from Russian forces. Also, Putin is talking seriously about using nuclear weapons-- but only tactical nukes, for the most part. Still, let's not lose sight of what's
really important: Zelensky is the one asking for "pre-emptive strikes," to prevent Putin, from doing what he's been threatening to do; Putin hasn't been talking about them. And his invasion couldn't be called a "pre-emptive" strike, because Ukraine was in no way threatening Russia (so there was nothing to pre-empt). Therefore Ukraine owns that pre-emptive label, all by itself.

Yes, Russia deserves the unprovoked invasion label, the war crimes label, and the nuclear threats label. But Ukraine's request for relief, through pre-emptive strikes, label, about evens things out-- what am I saying, I mean it makes Ukraine the real bad guys, here! If anything, Putin and Russia, are just victims.

Is that about how it seems to you, too, vis?

I did not say that Russia is a victim. The victims are people from Donbass who were shelled for 8 years and noone bothered about them. And it is Ukraine who is to blame for not following the Minsk agreements. US created a precendent by bombing Yugoslavia in 1999 that resulted in the disintegration a country and formation such a drug transfer center in Europe as Kosovo, and now you complain about Russia? US is the last one who can complain in this case.

I am not sure if Zelensky said it, but for Russians it should make perfect sense. If invading a country, annexing territory and threatening to use nuclear arms it invaded country will try to get back the annexed territory is justified, preventive nuclear attack is justified too.

What does any of that have to do with Russia's military, on Ukrainian soil, killing Ukrainian civilians, while you fault Ukraine's leader, Zelensky, for trying to get international assistance, against a monster, with no conscience? And why do you defend the monster, Putin, against these vicious truths, by pointing a finger of blame at America, for something done a quarter century ago? Have you been blind to the things that Putin has done, in the last decade or so and, especially, to what it is currently doing? You see some justification, great enough to excuse the mass graves, the bombed out schools and apartment buildings, and even the use of nukes, if & when Putin makes good on his threat?
