Remind me again what the NAACP had to say about Byrd when he died (need a link?). Duke remained (and still remains) dedicated to white nationalism.

lol, Democrat Ben Jealous (then President and CEO of the NAACP) said something about the old racist.

Jealous is a progressive Democrat. He endorsed Bernie Sanders in his 2016 campaign for U.S. president,[49][50] then supported Hillary Clinton after she was nominated as a candidate by the Democratic Party.[51]

    He said something.....in 1964?

Why does that justify racism currently?

Surely the damage done by Byrd to his state and to our united states far outweighs anything he could have possibly contributed after these events where he quite successfully advocated for systemic racism.

He was a champion for racism, and the affects of his "leadership" are still clearly felt today.

Another case that crops up NOW is that of the two states who use Martin Luther King Jr. Day to celebrate Robert E Lee - who fought for the destruction of our union and the treatment of human beings as slaves based on no more than skin color.

Anyone questioning the existence of white supremacy doesn't need to look to history.

    They can look to YESTERDAY.

How about recognizing that racism is NOT a valid basis for criticism of members of a racial minority?

    incorrect.
He tracked down tratra because he thought he was acting suspiciously, and then tratra knocked him down and was sitting on his chest beating him when he was trying to kill George. We have the evidence.

I want you to very carefully look at the FBI table below on interracial murders. I think we can all agree that Black people represent about 13% of the United States population, while White people represent approximately 75%. In this table you'll recognize that 566 white people were murdered by black people, while 246 black people were murdered by white people. That's over DOUBLE! but it's worse than that, because of the population disparity of 13% compared to 75%. So tell me why are Black people murdering whites at such a disproportional rate and who should be outraged. That's the latest year I could find, but I have no reason to doubt that 2020,2021 and 2022 were disproportionately the same as 2019.

Yes, Zimmerman saw a black guy where he believed black guys shouldn't be.

So, he tracked him down with clear intent.

That doesn't even START to excuse the police forces we have that are supremely racist and so frequently use their police capabilities to kill blacks, including those sitting in their cars, laying face down on the cement with several officers on top, delivering newspapers, those in custody, etc., etc., etc.

They are doing that while claiming that is their JOB!

Why shouldn't the White race be recognized as Supreme, they've contributed more to modern technology and life than any other race, so why shouldn't they be recognized as such.

Fair enough. It's constitutional to make a law prohibiting it.

Hey! Police have a job to enforce the law and have every right to go home to their families after their shifts alive. If Black people would comply with their orders to drop their weapons, there'd be a lot less dead Black criminals, but instead they choose to fight and try to take the life of the officer. I never see Liberals expressing outrage when an officer is killed in the line of duty, but I certainly see them express outrage with the murderous thug is killed by a Police officer.

Sorry. This is NOT about police doing legitimate law enforcement.

The police killings I referred to had NOTHING to do with legitimate law enforcement.

Your claims of what you think you hear about police deaths is ridiculous. You're just not listening.

Regarding the police killings you say had nothing to do with law enforcement, how many were there and do you have examples? I recall a week or so ago that 330 cops were killed in the line of duty last year and there were no protests, riots, looting or arson. No one kneeled at the capital, gave them three televised funerals or built statues in their honor.

Cool avoidance of a fawning interview/article about white supremacy - did you know it's in everything?

Democrats want to play thought police. I guess 1984 was really a warning.

in only a few instances are blacks killed by police while they’re doing nothing wrong. The largest % is them refusing to obey lawful orders, resisting arrest, fighting with the officers and shooting at them. They are their own worst problem. Trying to blame supremacy is a complete joke.

    wrong.
He as a male acting suspiciously who had been committing crimes already. It’s not legal to jump on a man and try and beat him to death, that’s exactly what tratra did.

Unless you have a magic 8 ball your version of “intent” is just whatever you feels justifies tratra in attacking someone who never laid a finger on him.

that’s why he was found not guilty, he was attacked by a criminal loser.
