Why do American's brains understand car regulations, food hygiene regulations, building code regulations; but when gun regulations is said, their brain can only hear gun ban?

Please read my post. It’s very clear. Your laws DO NOT allow the firearms that I use in my business. I also clearly stated I would have no problem passing your background checks as I have passed numerous ones here very similar to yours. Please refrain from fallacy and please read my posts before responding with questions I clearly addressed. If English is your second language get someone to help interpret for you. My post was all clear, concise English text.
No one in the US has called to ban cars, food or buildings. There is no shortage however of people who want to ban guns. Sure, its not 100% accurate to group people who just want to ban certain guns, more guns or certain people from having them in with those who want to ban them all, but it IS fairly accurate to say that nearly all of the folks who want more gun control would ALSO tolerate (and some secretly support) a total ban. In the same way that people who would simply tolerate a Nazi-style genocide of a minority group are not to be considered as having a particularly valid argument in the area of rights, so are people who may not be pushing for a total gun ban but would accept one nonetheless. Find me a number of people who want more gun control but have a line which they will not cross when it comes to gun rights, and I'll reconsider my above logic. Good luck. I've looked and asked. They're about as common as bigfoot or unicorns. They theoretically exist, but there's not a lot of hard evidence to support the theory.
Why can’t people from across the pond comprehend that if a regulation prohibits ownership of a particular firearm that firearm is BANNED? Why can’t they understand laws in their country, if implemented in the US, would outright BAN at least half of the firearms owned in the US? Regulations that make classes of firearms illegal to possess BAN firearms. It’s very simple to understand for anyone who uses a modicum of logic or critical thought.
It is part of the NRA fuelled myths surrounding guns. “If you don’t have a gun you will be enslaved” ergo all countries with gun control are either slaves or in the process of being enslaved This despite the fact that the UK and Australia consistently score higher than the USA on the freedom index
Around twice what it was before felons were prohibited from firearm possession. Around twice what it was before background checks were required on sales. Around twice what it was before firearm dealers were required to have federal licenses and fill out paperwork on each purchase. Around twice what it was when any child could walk into a hardware store and purchase a military surplus rifle with no background check.
Looks pretty even to me - especially given the subjective nature of the values. United Kingdom..8.72 7.71 Canada...............8.95 7.81 United States......8.42 7.97 Australia..............8.85 8.04 New Zealand.......9.09 8.27 Average...............8.80 7.96 World...................6.85 6.74
My favorite is Switzerland that usually tops the list of “freedom”. The place you can’t mow your lawn on Sunday, can’t work nights, can’t name your kid “Mercedes”, have to pay tax on your dog, and can’t ride a bike alone under age 7. FREEDOM!!!!!
because before 1977 the NRA supported tradional outdoorsmen types, but in 1977 the NRA took to the hardline position and since then they have beat the drums which all the freedom loving thinkers have followed hook line and sinker the NRA has created so much fear people can not think straight and gum makers are swimming in profit
That is because the NRA sold its soul to the armaments industry and became the advertising arm for same.
For context, this free original critical thinker has loathed the NRA since childhood. Now the question. Is the fear mongering from organizations like Everytown or Brady not an equivalent marketing scheme to the NRA? Are false premises and misrepresentation from anti gun organizations not to be criticized as well?
The NRA doesn't allocate several minutes of each of its campaign speeches to telling Americans how they should accept gun bans and any number of other unnecessary and ineffective restrictions on the exercise of their right to keep and bear arms. Democrats, on the other hand, do. So... who created the fear here?
The progressives are just torqued off because the NRA is supported by businesses and grassroots membership voluntary contributions. Their anti gun organizations wouldn’t even exist without Bloomberg the “one percenter” billionaire they are supposed to hate because he exploited the proles to amass an unfair share of wealth. That’s a lot of cognitive dissonance to deal with!
that's because the NRA realized that the Democrat party shifted from pushing gun bans and gun restrictions as nothing more than a facade to hide their soft on crime attitudes-to using gun control to harass and punish gun owners, hunters and target shooters for starting to vote against the Democrats: a move that the NRA helped orchestrate
that's some steaming natural fertilizer there. Has bloomberg and the brady thugs, along with the Giffords Gun grabbers sold their soul to the international communist conspiracy or are they just doing everything possible to make America safer for violent felons, rapists , robbers and mass murderers?
Being able to own and use firearms is not a value the authors of those freedom lists give a damn about. They probably see things like government handouts as a "freedom"
Does anyone see an answer to a prior question or is it obvious that the poster avoided answering it because Britain is a GUN BANNING regime?
the JBS has called the democrats gun grabbing communists since the 1950s, the Powell memorandum about 1971 the republicans simply followed their own advice and aligned manufacturing lobbyists with politicians s the timing is about right
On record mate! On record https://vpc.org/investigating-the-gun-lobby/blood-money/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Rifle_Association
I love it when people are so desperate that they claim victory if someone has not answered immediately often of course not accounting for time zones As for the UK being a “Gun banning regime” plenty of gun clubs in the UK and shooting wild life is still a national sport soooooo…. What they do not have is the mass murder rate seen in the US
