Tucker Carlson starts to divulge the Capitol video tapes

We can safely say that Sicknick (what a horrible name, BTW) died from a heart attack. Maybe the riot contributed to his demise but he surely wasn't fit.

 

He didn't pick his name. And he didn't die of a heart attack. He passed out hours after the riot from a stroke. He had two strokes and died. The examiner said that the events of the day contributed to his demise. I guess blue lives only matter if you like their last name and you retroactively declare them to be "fit."

 

Some of the people the GOP put forward had openly supported overthrowing the election and were likely to be witnesses. They were only put forward to try to turn the committee into a circus. Gym Jordan was trying to change the subject of the committee to talk about BLM riots instead. This wasn't an "offer." It was an attempt to sabotage.

 

Why didn't the narrative read that a very sick and out of shape capitol police officer died at the capitol from being forced to endure the rigors of the Jan.6 riot? Maybe, if anything, that'll cause the capitol police to extend more rigorous physical demands testing on capitol police officers???I mean, talking about the capitol police divulging systems and methods like having unfit capitol police officers protect the capitol.

 

Because not all of us are eager for those kind of fake narratives. He was reportedly struck on the head before this. We know for a fact that he was assaulted by the rioters. There's no evidence that he was "very sick" or "out of shape."

 

Even Mitch McConnell thinks Tucker is lying about Jan 6.

"McCarthy finds himself out of step with McConnell. The Senate Republican leader said Tuesday afternoon he aligned himself with remarks issued earlier Tuesday by U.S. Capitol Police Chief Tom Manger to his rank-and-file slamming Carlson's "offensive and misleading conclusions" about the siege. He held up Manger's one-page statement — called "Truth & Justice" — near the Senate chamber.

"It was a mistake, in my view, for Fox News to depict this in a way that's completely at variance with what our chief law enforcement official here at the Capitol thinks," McConnell told reporters.

Earlier Tuesday, Manger asked his statement be read at roll call meetings for rank-and-file and posted on all Capitol Police bulletin boards. In the memo, which was obtained by NPR, Manger listed out a series of falsehoods portrayed by Fox:

• Carlson pushed "outrageous and false" allegations that officers acted as "tour guides." Manger refuted that characterization saying that officers who were severely outnumbered were using "de-escalation tactics to try to talk rioters into getting each other to leave the building."
• The program "cherry-picked from the calmer moments" outside the violent attack to push a false narrative dismissing the violence of the siege.
• The Fox News host claimed fallen officer Brian Sicknick's death had "nothing to do with his heroic actions on January 6." The department maintains, Manger wrote, "that had Officer Sicknick not fought valiantly for hours on the day he was violently assaulted, Officer Sicknick would not have died the next day."

 

The tapes prove otherwise. Sicknick wasn't struck on the head beforehand at the riot.

Carlson said on his program that Sicknick wasn't hit on the head beforehand.

EDIT: Carlson also showed many movements of Sicknick that day on tape and none involved Sicknick being hit on the head.
That would be my first question: Show me footage of Sicknick being hit on the head.

Carlson is a proven liar. Sicknick's father said he was hit on the head.

 

His lack of any semblance of a cut or contusion on his head speaks volumes. Think for a second.

 

One of the clips aired by Carlson shows men breaking windows and going through them even though there is an open door right next to them with people calmly walking in. Makes you wonder about the whole show.

 

Show me...the footage, then...EDIT: Or the capitol police could just show Sicknick's physical reports.

 

If your position is that nothing that wasn't caught on film ever actually happened, then have a good day. Lots of things happen that aren't caught on film. I'm typing right now. It isn't on film. According to you, that means I'm not typing. I don't follow such bizarre, obviously false beliefs. And if you are that interested in footage, then take it up with the many thousands of hours that Tucker is hiding from you.

 

Hearsay (such as dad saying Brian was hit on the head) isn't admissible in court.
Sicknick's capitol police physical reports, however, are admissible in court.

 

Lol, why are you trying to change the subject to courts? This isn't in the courts. But let's say he was unhealthy. Why does that make his death okay? How does it excuse the fact that these rioters DEFINITELY attacked him physically?
