Texas led nation in white supremacist propaganda in 2022, report finds

In a startling and disappointing turn of events, white supremacist propaganda increased across the country last year, and Texas led the way.

Who are these people that see fit to spread flyers promoting their hate?

Texas led the nation in white supremacist propaganda incidents last year, according to a new report from the Anti-Defamation League.

All told, Texas accounted for 527 of the 6,750 incidents tallied by the ADL in 2022 — a 61% increase statewide and a 38% jump nationally since 2021. The total, which hit an all-time high last year, includes the distribution or display of antisemitic, racist or anti-LGBTQ stickers, banners, graffiti, posters and laser projections.

The rise corresponds with a wave of antisemitic and extremist violence that has steadily grown in recent years, driven by white supremacist groups and worldviews that have been increasingly popularized online and in conservative politics. Reported incidents of “explicitly antisemitic propaganda” more than doubled last year, according to the ADL.

 

Buncha BS. All that really happened is the expansion of whats considered 'white supremacist' to encompass things that really arent. Just saying 'the border isn't secure' or quoting crime stats of illegals is 'white supremacist propaganda' now. Its just another term made meaningless by deliberate overgeneralization. Its like how making everything 'racist' murked the waters regarding actual racism.

 

Not really. There have been flyers distributed on college campuses and high schools, among others where it depicted a lynching of a black person or Jewish person. that is not expanding the defintion of "white supremecy" at all from the ADL perspective. But a lot of this rise has to do with a group called GDL, or Goyim Defense League. I trust more of the ADL on white supremacy than any other group that tracks these things.

With all the stuff this guy mentioned going on in Texas, not one lib, not a single one, posted a story about any of it, not even my favorite admirers on this board who see racism in the name of the gypsy moth. The best part is this clown called Houston one of the most diverse cities in the country. A quick peek at the demographics show blacks and brown are over represented based upon their population ratio. This tells me once again, the left's definition of diversity is no whites.

But speaking of propaganda, is anyone going to mention the anti white propaganda that is spewed from every liberals mouth from Biden on down? Every time someone says white supremacist, white supremacy, white privilege, etc. they're literally spreading anti white propaganda.

It's impossible to know what propaganda is actual white supremacists and which ones are hoaxers.

The demand for hate crimes is very high, while the supply is very low.

Some local idiot was printing nazi stuff and putting in a ziplock with a small rock and throwing them onto driveways. he probably did several hundred. My neighbors and I got one.

News reported them as massive numbers of hate crime ****. It was one felon, living in an apartment.

In light of some posters here casting doubt on the OP story, I'd just like to refer to the FBI's crime database for one second. Apparently, there's a lot of anti-black crimes that happened in 2021 so I'm inclined to believe the FBI on this, until or unless I see otherwise.

I still don't know why the ADL, and it's counterpart the Southern Poverty Law Firm aren't sued for slander and for misrepresentations. Imagine calling yourself a poverty law firm, and doing absolutely NOTHING to avail poverty. It'd be like a charity claiming that its funds are towards child hunger, but then the stockholders are having a yacht party.

 

I’m astounded how anyone could really believe white supremacy or hate crimes of a similar nature are on the rise lol. The standards they use to apply what is hate speech and hate crimes are so vague as to be meaningless. But hey,the demand for hate crimes are high on much of the left.
