I don't care. But YOU do. And you acknowledged that caring is stupid, even though you attempted (and failed) to project YOUR dumb requirement to me. Makes no difference to me for which of his PROVEN crimes he'll be doing jail time.

Oh, we know you don't care. You're just pumped about the Bad Orange Man going to jail.

But, to exhibit that you aren't just blindly following the your party, you really ought to be able to say what Trump will be charged with.

I can't wait for something like this to happen to a politician you do like. It's going to be funny as hell to watch all of you wet your pants over it.

He paid Stormy Daniels with campaign money.

    That's illegal.

But don't worry, he committed many other crimes.

You'll have plenty of opportunities to learn about the law.

That's impossible. Michael Cohen paid Daniels out of his own pocket and was convicted of an illegal campaign contribution. If Cohen did that, then there's no way Trump paid her with campaign funds.

You people are being played like a MF...lol

The ultimate is election interference. The corrupt DoJ, enlists a left wing court to bring a A “Zombie charge” from 2006 against their party’s leading candidate.
I hope Trump’s DoJ uses one of his special prosecutors to see how many democrats in office everywhere have paid hush money.

1000% !!!! And I must say I was concerned that prosecutors would be too squeamish to bring a proven criminal President to justice. I am relieved to have been proven wrong. Gives one hope that we may still live in a nation of laws.

At least you're honest about supporting a corrupt, politically driven justice system.

Stop repeating what the right-wing pundits are saying.

    They aren't credible sources.

    Cohen recorded Trump.

    Your guy is toast.

An indictment has been "imminent" for months. I'm still not holding my breath.

One advantage of state charges in NY or GA is that if he, or anothe Republican, wins next year's election, he can't be pardoned. That only applies to federal charges.

I think the opposite. I think a successful conviction would turn Trump effectively into a dead-ender, making a nomination an easy clinch for De Santis. He doesn't necessarily need Trump voters, just a fraction of them and independents who would vote in Republican primaries to get over the hump.

Or if Republican voters decide that enough with the drama, Nikki Haley could position herself as the nominee, and then the Democrats would face the prospect of attacking a conservative woman that's ahead of the Republican ticket. If you can't beat identity politics, join identity politics.

NY: Election fraud -- paying hush money to silence someone who could affect the outcome.

GA: Election fraud -- attempting to "persuade" state officials into changing the election results.

I can't find the exact codes, and they vary from state to state, but that's what the current "imminent" indictments cover.

Trump is a criminal and always has been. He wouldn't be in this pickle if he had an ounce of self-control. Running for president was the single greatest mistake in his long life of mistakes, but this time it's too public for him to hide behind crooked or ethically challenged lawyers, and daddy is no longer around to bail him out.

I know you didn't ask me, but hell would freeze over before I ever joined a demonstration. I find them historically meaningless unless you can coerce through public pressure, the result that you want. And the DOJ historically is immune to any sort of public pressure. What a prosecutor wants, a prosecutor gets.

As I said, Cohen was convicted of making an illegal campaign contribution by paying Daniels $130,000. You can't convict Trump of paying Daniels $130,000, too.

As far as the Georgia thing goes, they are going to look stupid on that one...lol

You didn't know that Cohen was convicted of an illegal campaign contribution by paying Daniels $130,000?

    That's fact, not punditry...lol

Are you somehow privy to that grand jury's proceedings?

The money was not Cohen's, as he has so testified under oath more than once ... at his own trial and before the current grand jury. The money cam from the 2016 Trump Campaign.

If you don't know how grand juries operate, you should Google it.

If that wasn't Cohen's money, then the illegal campaign contribution conviction should be overturned and the charges dropped.

Again with the lack of research ... Here's Cohen's charging memo:

    https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/5453401-SDNY-Cohen-sentencing-memo

Note the many references to "Individual-1" who has been identified beyond doubt as Trump.

Given that Trump is a disgrace of a human being unfit for any office of public trust and poses a threat to US National Security, and a criminal on top of all that, one who deserves to be incarcerated, our concerns that if such a man were to rise to the presidency are legitimate and warranted.

We are going to march on the Manhattan DA's office and I will be there with you and old Betsy too?!!

But seriously, there will be no nationwide protests if Trump is indicted?!! This is just the first indictment for Trump, there will be more to follow?!!

I agree, but to get enough moderates on board, it will have to be something more serious than a campaign finance violation. That is why I say this is a mistake if that is all this is about. I'm hoping there will be more serious charges. I mean, of course, they are all serious, I'm talking about public perception.
