Well, we can guess, but, of course, until the indictment is published, and Bragg makes a public statement, which he will (if it doesn't, he'd be a fool), no one knows.

But, so what? You say 'you don't even know' as if that is a big deal. It isn't, because until the indictment is handed down, no one knows.

It's the actions of a demagogue, noting that all dictators are demagogues.

    Take your pick.

This is the saddest part of this announcement. He really seems to have little concern for what could happen. Why does he want a protest? Is it to stroke his ego? Is it to intimidate the DA or the justice system? At minimum if he calls for protest he should tell them to protest peacefully instead of rhetoric like "Take our nation back".

At the very least, people should see how self serving it is right?

Say what you want, but it's impossible to charge Cohen for campaign finance violation and then claim Trump paid Daniels with campaign money.

So any criminal investigation into trump is a witch hunt?

    So either
    - it is impossible for him to break the law
    or
    - even if he does break the law, you think he shouldn’t be investigated

Maybe he can get some tips from the SC Justices on how they handled it after the leak of Roe being overturned.

He doesn't have the first clue... it probably sounds good in his head, but it ends up laughable on the page...

On charges, seems pretty clear Mango both avoided reporting a (well) hidden campaign contribution (Cohen), then lied about the repayment (To Cohen) in his business reporting

Don't know what that equates to in NY Law, but fortunately, I don't have to...

He has no qualms about using the MAGA to cause social chaos.

This is the basis of the cult of personality.

    And why is that?

The DA has the checks, he has a witness, he has a record that corroborates the witness, and he has the bank statement that proves the amount was taken from the campaign fund.

    Trump is cooked.

And this is just the beginning of a long line of lawsuits.

For me, this is the saddest part of this, that Trump would use his supporters for his own gain. I guess in the end it is their choice, and what ever the repurcussions they will pay, but it's bad when a supposed "leader" does this type of thing.
I don't have this big desire to see Trump locked up, just shut up and go away.
The damage he's done to our country needs to heal, but STOP DAMAGING IT!
Trump needs to deal with what he has dealt, not ask his supporters to step up. If he didn't do anything wrong, step up and deal with it.
What is the purpose of protesting? The big "wrong" of Trump being charged for something he did? Should they be sure to not protect his head when they put him in the police car?
I remember a lot of what Trump has said over the years, and when it's someone he considers a criminal, he has been less than forgiving.
    Sometimes karma happens.

Can you provide a link to that? I though the money came from the Trump Organization/Personal accounts. I've never seen the repayment to Cohen coming from a campaign fund.

He did so at trumps direction and trump paid him back. And there is a question of if he deducted it as a business expense.

No it’s not. If I use my own money to buy signs for my campaign, it’s a campaign expenditure. Same thing with hush money to sex workers

    Hi, QN.

It's my guess that he or perhaps an assistant of his is already consigning a number of these to the trash can.

And so it goes, in the land of free, if not necessarily nice, speech.

    Regards, stay safe 'n well.

Probably why they're prosecuting Bankman-Fried formerly of FTX...So they can now prosecute Trump...Except Trump wasn't involved in any Ponzi scheme like Bankman-Fried was.

Let me see if I can say this slowly so you all will understand:

Cohen's payment to Daniels can't be a donation if the money came from the campaign.

How do you define a witch hunt? Shouldn't people be prosecuted for committing crimes? How do you draw the line between a bona fide criminal investigation and a witch hunt? Do you think Trump should be immune from criminal prosecution?

If Trump paid him back, then Cohen didn't make a contribution...lol.

Y'all really aren't thinking this all the way through.
