Warning: This is a story of my father's recent death and unanswered questions.

Briefly, my father developed noticeable polymyalgia late February 2022 and died October 2022, as the result of a direct trajectory of symptoms including fatigue, physical restriction and inflammation that slowly and inexorably worsened over that 8 months, rendering a fit man bedridden and killing him. The cause of the polymyalgia was never determined. My father was administered the Pfizer booster prior to his polymyalgia developing.

My father was a long term cancer patient for over 10 years (prostate), which he managed successfully with a ketogenic diet. His death certificate reads that he died from terminal cancer - yet was given 18 months to 2 years to live (based on cancer progression) just one month prior to his death. I have never been able to get a straight answer from the medical fraternity how he died and any attempt to have that conversation have not been facilitated. I don't mean that there was an argument. I could not get that conversation to happen, specifically one where I enquired how it was possible for patently cancer symptoms from what was meant to be a small physical incursion to kill my father. And I certainly was not able to have a conversation as to whether the Pfizer booster triggered a slow-progressing auto-immune disease in my father. (from my medical reading it is possible). Due to my grief at that stage as well as the fact that the medical people were lovely and hard-working people I did not press the issue.

I don't know if the Pfizer vaccine caused my father's condition. However, based on the situation surrounding the death of my father my conclusion is that medical references ( or certainly completely honest conversations) about Covid vaccine complications that lead to serious illness and death are, spitting hairs, being avoided in hospitals (where most of my father's treatment was), potentially so as not to facilitate vaccine hesitancy or, more probably, inflame vaccine hysteria. However, as a result I am not fully trusting of the long-term effects of the Covid vaccines; to be more precise I am not as confident as I was that that the studies of the long-term negative effects of the mRNA vaccines will be adequate going forward, since this relies upon accurately reported data. It also perhaps relies on a political and medical will that is lacking. More vaccines administered = less trouble and work for both these fraternities.

Since the current Coronavirus is not the killer that it once was - and since I managed to negotiate Covid once without too much drama, at this stage I don't see the benefit/risk in my favour of having more boosters.

I had the two shots and a booster and kind of regret it now since the censorship veil has been lifted.

I’m very sorry about your dad. This link was my position in August 2020 and “unfortunately” still is. You may want to read further on in the thread to see more what I was warning of with transparency, advertising, and public pressure.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index.php?posts/1071938868/

I know there were some early warnings of this reaction to Covid vaccination early on in Europe but I’m not well versed on it. I believe influenza vaccines have been observed to be associated with the condition as well.

Again, sorry about your dad. You’ve told me a bit about him and he sounded like a special, talented man the planet will miss. I lost my mom in December of 2019. Looking back I’m thankful she didn’t have to experience Covid. She had dementia and the whole thing (visitation, vaccination, etc.) would have torn her up.

I commend you for this change in viewpoint. Not many are that honest with themselves. Sorry for the loss of your dad, and best wishes for gaining more knowledge regarding the harm caused to your body by the shots.

You might consider reading the frequent but short posts from Dr. Peter McCullough at Substack. Nattokinase in the Prevention and Treatment of Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease (substack.com) This is from today, but he has posted much detailed information there. All the best!

I was diagnosed with a small case of autoimmune issues after the vaccine as well. I will never take another either.

I'm not sure if it was the covid vaccine. Probably not. What bothered me more was the lack of logic and this came across as a lack of transparency. Unfortunately I can't verify either way.

Your linked story is more nuanced. I just don't have the energy to pursue it further at my end. Two very different countries with respect to vaccination approaches.

Thanks. I'm sorry to hear about your mum as well. I'm glad for your family that there were no restrictions to visit her.

If there is a more virulent strain of covid and they have a targeted non-nMRA vaccine I might consider it. I like to weigh up these things as the situation arises.

It's not a 180 degree swing about. I just realised that there is tenancy, perhaps more than I thought, for authority to emphasise and deemphasise information for a social gain at the expense of absolutely accurate information for the individual.

I still think the mRNA vaccines are overall the best we have and useful. Hopefully the long-term data won't have any nasty surprises.

James Madison of the US back in 1787 opined that in truth, all men holding power ought to be mistrusted. Wise advice then, wise advice now.

Australian and New Zealand governments are both going along with the WEF scam. Ardern has now resigned in anticipation of the dirty laundry being aired.

    Good luck to you.

I don't expect to get any more boosters because i don't see any reason to.

I have no concern about the safety of the vaccine.

So do you think the immunity you've received from the shots is sufficient?

Mistrust to a degree. There are buffers to keep bad agents in check.

Really? Could you offer an example of how those 'buffers' have worked? A bit of empirical evidence?

I would bet you a $100 that the "STATE" run co-opted media and its equally "CORRUPT" 3-letter agencies that brainwash those who blindly trust and follow them in a religious "Hare Krishnas" like cult aren't the buffers that keep the "bad agents" in check.

If they were, then the would so busy "arresting" themselves.

I consider you to be an intractable conspiracy theorist. So really this post is for other people's interest.

The drug companies would like us to take as many boosters as possible. More money. However the recommendation for my age group is currently 'consider'. This is an example of medical agencies acting as buffer against the rampant capitalism of the drug companies..

I am proud to be an intractable CT, thanks. From 911 to the Scamdemic, the passage of time and knowledge gained thereby have shown CT to have been quite right, thanks again.

I am no longer amazed that so many otherwise intelligent individuals simply cannot grasp that humans in power conspire all the time. It is easier to fool a man than it is to explain to him how he's been fooled.

I am sorry to hear about your Dad. Those losses hurt no matter the cause.

You won't likely ever be able to have the conversation you want. I lost both a MIL and a lifelong best friend very shortly after getting a booster/jab. Neither one was in 'bad' health. But cause was listed as heart attack in one, and undetermined in the other. The family of the latter was not able to get any answers either.

Keep an open mind, read as much as you can from as neutral sources as you can find. Limited trust is a good thing, in all matters.

Sorry to hear about your dad, melb_muser. My parents are vaccinated and boosted and have tried to get me to take the shots. So far, so good for them. They still live pretty much quarantined in their (very nice) home and my brother and I respect their choices and try hard not to introduce sickness to their home. Their vaccines are basically untested because of their lifestyle.

My wife, youngest adult son, and I had covid before vaccines were created and I have trusted my natural immunity. For 18 months after recovering, I tested positive 8 times for antibodies when giving blood and my blood was used for research and antibody therapy. As long as I had antibodies, I refused to get vaccinated. Almost 3 years since recovery and I haven't gotten it again even after prolonged exposure to coworkers with the delta and omicron variants.

My ex-wife got vaccinated during the divorce to help her get her first full time job and she got covid again. The same happened to my youngest son. My theory is that the vaccine only offers temporary immunity and interferes with previous natural immunity.

My oldest is in the military and 4 days after post covid quarantine he was ordered to get a shot by the end of the day or face a dishonorable discharge. He got covid again a few months after the vaccine.

My middle son never contracted covid when the rest of us did and he has still never had covid. No vaccine.

My DIL had one pfizer vaccine and opted not to get the second when she discovered she was pregnant with my 2nd granddaughter. She and both granddaughters have had covid recently. The granddaughters are unvaccinated.

I've known 4 people who have died from covid. All had health issues. 2 were unvaccinated. 2 were vaccinated and one of those died from a stroke shortly after being vaccinated and her husband died of a heart attack 3 months later.

the problem we have with covid, its vaccines and the medical community in general is one of bowing to authority. most of us are relatively uninformed when it comes to medicine. we tend to take a doctor's word for what ails us. in the case of covid, we had the added authority of government telling us what steps to take. our society is increasingly dependent on "experts". the less we understand something, the more dependent we are on those who "claim" to have some knowledge we lack. the concept of questioning authority is dying. we are constantly told that life is becoming too complicated for us to understand, so we are becoming more and more dependent on self-described "experts". from economics and medicine to raising our children, we are told it's just too complicated for our simple minds to understand. the notion of a common sense life has been under attack for decades. common sense tells us that an experimental drug may not be safe, but when authority tells us it is necessary we fall in line. common sense tells us that stealing wealth from the people to finance pie in the sky projects is insane, but authority tells us that this money belongs to "the people" and we line up for the crumbs that are left over after the ruling elite take their cut. common sense informs us on a variety of matters, from killing our children to the basic priorities of life, and authority is always right there to push us in a direction that is designed to enhance its own power. every sinew in our beings tells us that the diseases we constantly face are best battled, except those few who are most vulnerable, by our own inherent defenses, but we are constantly under attack to accept a series of treatments that do little more than weaken the species and allow us to be further controlled.

just a few months ago i lost my own father. he was well advanced in age and ready for the inevitable, but i still curse myself for not being true to those instincts that had served me so well throughout my life. a visit to the cardiologist earlier this year with the complaint of minor dizziness led to his doctor radically altering his meds. within three weeks he took several falls, endured two ambulance trips to the hospital and died. the entire time these "specialists" were kept informed and their only suggestions were to stay the course. face it folks, the medical community is clueless. they experiment on us haphazardly and covid is certainly no exception.

The medical community is not so much clueless as it is corrupted by $ and completely void of a moral compass. In their defense, they have been manipulated by the insurance industry and others. They want to be good people, but are brainwashed during and after medical school. The Hippocratic Oath, letter and spirit, has been abandoned.

I highlighted specific comments of yours. In regards to your first two sentences you repeat a theme in your thread that because you listened to a doctor who changed your father's medication, and he then died you feel the change of medicine killed him and therefore the entire medical community is clueless. SO your first two sentences reflect that distrust and to that I say:

    1-No you are not a doctor and so yes it only makes sense if you have a medical issue you go to a doctor no you do not go to a plumber, an engineer;
2-You then stated in your third statement "we" are constantly under attack to accept a series of treatments. This is untrue. No law can force you to take a treatment. A law can quarantine you or arrest you if you are a danger to others but it can't force medication on you unless you live in a death where you were found guilty of murder and the method of execution is by lethal injection. So with due respect no one is attacking you although you yourself may feel pressured by others who talk to you or by what you read.
3-I appreciate you lost your father. So it makes you feel sad. Sadness turned outside is anger. It is highly normal to feel you could have done something to prevent your father from dying and while it sounds like you blame the wrong medication I am sure you would agree you also have blamed yourself for not staying the course and to that I say:
    a-no you did NOTHING wrong
    b-do not blame yourself
c-what you may not fully understand to your emotions of grief is that staying the course or changing the medications could very well in either case not prevented your father's death-in all of us we come to a time where its time to die and NO treatment can stop that-it might help alleviate the pain or delay it but the truth is your heart can only pump so long and no medication can keep it going-my Dad died last year at 97-technically a tooth infection spread and killed him in his compromised state but he had triple by pass in his 70's and his living as long as he did was testament to him being a former military officer and tough son pf a bitch who chain smoked cigars and never ate anything but steak and potatoes and was just damn ornery.

I mean technically they misdiagnosed the tooth infection and could have got to it and then? He could bave lived longer yes. Should I be mad, angry. No. He had a good life.

As for you I am sorry your Dad died but do not blame yourself for not listening to yourself. Ease up. Next doctors are not perfect. They do their best with the knowledge they have and often they have limitations and this is why we sign medical releases on operations and why we like to sue them and blame them.

My mother was a pediatric neurologist. Kids died and would blame her. As a kid I remember her being blamed when kids died because their parents refused to give them a polio shot or worse, would send them to a chiropractor who would snap their spine or neck and kill them or send them to self professed naturopaths who have them all kinds of remedies for cancer, muscular degenerative diseases, infections which would kill them or refuse to allow them certain treatments or vaccines or blood transfusions or bone morrow transfers.

We have by inherent nature a distrust of anyone or any knowledge we do not understand. It can frighten us, make us angry, too dependent on an expert to explain it. Our lack of knowledge makes us feel we are NOT in control and so we engage in despair expressed as anger, sadness, anxiety, helplessness, betrayal.

Its life man. Life is fragile, we come on and leave it and we don't have all the answers BUT you can do one thing-ease up on yourself man and please believe me. I just came out of the hospital again. Covid 19 shots was about thinking of others. It was about preventing us from spreading it to vulnerable people it could kill and most importantly the doctors, the nurses, the orderlies, the psw's, the ambulance drivers, the paramedics, the first responders, the taxi and bus drivers, anyone serving the public. Those are real people with real lives and families. Like you and me they get through the day. They over pay their taxes, wonder some days why they bother, but they do it. They get up every day like you and they do it because others depend on them and they won't let them down. You did not let your father down. You did the right thing man. Peace.
