https://www.uawire.org/kyiv-russian-offensive-on-bakhmut-is-failing Ooops...not good for Mafiosi if true. Even though Strelkovka/Girkin is a classic SOB....I'll agree on one thing that he points out that Putlerstan and Co., totally fu**Ed this up with no end in sight. Soon Western cats and Abrams tanks and jets will show up....and possibly the real sh**show will start. This Twitter vid is priceless.....it even mentions the Wankers.....ooops Wagners......hahaha. https://twitter.com/saintjavelin/status/1636075550904131586?s=20
Ahh Zoomer -u need to stop ingesting that spiked Kool-aid .. never gonna see straight if you continue like this. Heard the casualty rate is as much as 3-1 or more of late ... meat grinder tearing up the Azov neo nazi as they backpeddle . not gonna have any bodies left for "Spring Counter Offensive" if this keeps up. Bakhmut perhaps remembered as "Last Stand" .. desperate to hold position the idea of "taking Crimea back" pure hopeless fantasy at this point. Time to negotiate .. hope to save Odesa .. access to Black Sea.
Perun went over how Russia's "Great winter offensive 2.0" has not really resulted in much of anything other than killing hundreds of men, depleting their ammo reserves, and destroyed tons of valuable vehicles. All without much of anything to show for it.
Yep, it's a big Ukrainian W in the end, especially with those big cats and their British and American cousins coming to the party shortly.
Well at the end of the day he'll probably get Bakhmut, to the extent that matters. The answer to which is 'not much' since the town itself is almost worthless without the ability to push on and make other gains fairly rapidity. Which it appears Russia can't. But regardless of the body count and wasted resources standby for Putin to declare it a major 'victory' for the Rodina. Not withstanding the fact that victory has only resulted in Russia's capacity to wage war being further diminished.
Which might explain the timing of Xi's visit to Moscow. While Vlad the Invader's Great Big Meat Offensive comes to nothing he needs to put a happy face on things: 300,000 new troops couldn't get Russia's big offensive to work, and sending more to the front probably won't help, war experts say https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/worl...robably-wont-help-war-experts-say/ar-AA18RrRr Russian Troops Complain to Putin About 1940s Weapons: 'We Are Not Meat' https://www.newsweek.com/russia-ukraine-putin-complain-meat-weapons-1940s-1785781 This is what happens when you ignore the structural defects in your conventional forces, and they're not going to get fixed on the fly during this war. Things are going to get real interesting in a couple months.
Institute for the Study of War RUSSIAN OFFENSIVE CAMPAIGN UPDATE, MARCH 19, 2023 Mar 19, 2023 - Press ISW ...Russian forces have reinforced elements of the 155th Naval Infantry Brigade (currently heavily committed in the Vuhledar area) with reserve forces of the 98th Guards Airborne Division.[9] The 155th Naval Infantry Brigade suffered catastrophic manpower and equipment losses during continued failed attacks on Vuhledar in November 2022 and February 2023, and Russian military leadership is likely heavily relying on reserve elements from the 98th Airborne Division to offset and compensate for the 155th Naval Infantry Brigade’s losses.[10] The 98th Airborne Division is at least partially committed in the Kreminna area in Luhansk Oblast, and the commitment of some of its constituent elements to the Vuhledar area is likely indicative of a level of desperation on the part of the Russian military command trying to reconstitute battered units and restart offensive operations in western Donetsk Oblast.[11] The Ukrainian General Staff similarly noted that the Russian military leadership is in a hurry to send reinforcements to Vuhledar and has been creating a ”Shtorm” detachment within the 37th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade (36th Combined Arms Army, Eastern Military District), which will presumably deploy to the Vuhledar area on March 24.[12] The ad hoc reconstitution of existing units for deployment to Vuhledar, as well as the apparent creation of sub-brigade echelon special formations, suggests that Russian combat capabilities in western Donetsk Oblast are greatly degraded. The overall Russian spring offensive is thus likely approaching culmination. Ongoing Russian offensives along the Svatove-Kreminna line, around Bakhmut, and along the Avdiivka-Donetsk City and Vuhledar frontlines have failed to make more than incremental tactical gains in the first few months of 2023. Russia has committed the approximately 300,000 mobilized soldiers, called up by partial mobilization in September 2022 for the purpose of pursuing exactly such a spring offensive, to these various offensive efforts. If 300,000 Russian soldiers have been unable to give Russia a decisive offensive edge in Ukraine it is highly unlikely that the commitment of additional forces in future mobilization waves will produce a dramatically different outcome this year. Ukraine is therefore well positioned to regain the initiative and launch counteroffensives in critical sectors of the current frontline.... https://www.understandingwar.org/backgrounder/russian-offensive-campaign-update-march-19-2023 What Happened In Vuhledar? I don't think that will deter the Dwarf....he'll just keep tossing more meat on the BBQ regardless....the Kremlinoids have basically drilled it into its sheeple that Mafialand is fighting NATO and its existence is at stake.....the average Russki schmuck has bought into it.
With Muscovites now fully concentrated on/in Bakhmut, watch now for Ukrainians to crash both flanks around the city, cutting off Muscovite forces.
They are kept in the dark, but I think Muscovy's war crimes and the mounting losses will hit home eventually, and then the dwarf better look out.
I think Moscow needs to be hit with several drones...and a few hundred dead sheeple....watch the fun then.
Part of the problem they are having reinforcing the lowes on the southern front is stupid Russians kept putting untrained conscripts into giant temporary barracks with ammo stored in the same place so Ukraine keeps HIMARing them and killing hundreds with each strike. These people are too stupid to learn. They never adapt or change what they are doing.
This is an old Russian tactic - Ukrainians will run out out of ammo before Russian will run out of people.
I'll be curious to see if they go for that. Wiping out Wagner might not be the best 'bang for the buck'. It would suit the Russian defence bureacracy & Army just fine & possibly have less impact than rolling over a bunch of conscripts & regulars somewhere. If it can be done cheaply, sure. If not, is it worth it?
