I don't know about that but what you have to say smells like some strong Kool Aid.

He denied there was anything like illegal child pics on it when the media interviewed him.

The first sentence was sarcasm. I was mocking the "What if?" argument. The second was just my opinion that nobody but Trump supporters believes any of this. I don't need a link for that.

Nobody cares. Lots of people have lots of vices. Pointing this out just puts a mirror in front of our faces, each and every one of us.

Hunter shouldn't work for the DEA. Problem solved.

I was expecting him to back his false claim that that's "not a crime".

Frankly I haven’t kept up with all the details of the story so wasn’t sure if the shop guy claimed he could or couldn’t identify the drop off individual.

    Thanks for clarifying.

I wonder how the person claiming to be Hunter Biden, who dropped off the laptop, convinced Hunter Biden to star in all those drug, porn and pedophile videos for him to document?

So, you assume he saw porn, and his denial is proof that he did? Is this a mind reading trick or is there some reason to think he saw porn, and then denied it? This is the star witness. Why would he deny seeing Hunter Biden's porn? It's not illegal to discover child pornography. I think the reasonable assumption is that he in fact, did not see child pornography on the computer.

Yes, but I'm pointing out its nature. Criminalizing vices creates victimless crimes.

You are correct on the technicality, but I'm talking about deep, ages old, inbred human nature here. Vice. Everybody got one.

Out here the speed limit on I-80 is 80mph. Many of us, including me, do 90 comfortably, and as long as you respect the speed traps (and construction zones), the cops leave you alone. The guys doing 100 are rare, and my hat's off to 'em, but they impose much more danger to themselves and others than some guy smoking crack with hookers in his house. Hell, out here, the hookers are legal. Vices are dealt with locally, and although I doubt crack cocaine is legal anywhere, smoking it is no different an act than pounding a 12 pack of IPA every night, like my brother does, and my father before him, and his father before him.

If the guy doing 100 flips over, it becomes newsworthy.

If the hookers turn up dead, crackhead becomes newsworthy. Otherwise, nobody rightly cares.

We'll just have to disagree on that one. Kinda like saying popping a few cold pills is no different than smoking meth.

I'm just puzzled as to how you arrived at that opinion. Sounds more like a guess.

If someone wants to snort Ajax, ala Up In Smoke, I really don't think she cares what our opinion on her drug of choice of is. I'm libertarian on the subject. People should be allowed to choose their own poisons. You can rank em if you want. I'll rank mine.

Alcohol is by far the more destructive vice. Much more so than cocaine.

While I wont say alcohol is not a vice, it's hardly comparable to crack/coke. Perhaps the history in the family you stated influences your view here, but living with a crack addict is much worse. Most crack addicts can't hold a job and are lying theives, as well.

False comparison. There are valid comparisons, but cocaine addiction permeates society. Hunter Biden is a rich addict, he doesn't need to hold a job to support his habit. Most cocaine users are gainfully employed. Got jobs. People steal for cocaine because it's expensive and illegal. People don't steal for beer and a bowl of weed because they're cheap and legal.

Alcohol is physically addicting. Untreated withdrawal can lead to death. Coke is highly addictive, but not physically. People don't generally go their entire lives as coke users. Alcoholics begin drinking at a young age and continue until their death if they don't stop. It seems to be a much more harmful drug to me. People drive just fine on coke. Not so much drunk.

Fun fact: the emails in the supposed "Biden laptop" were being sold in Ukraine for a year, but nobody wanted to buy them. Everybody thought they were faked, and now we know Russia hacked Burisma.

only idiot Handsy Pantsy Guiliani was interested, and he was working with a Russian agent

One of the most consistent strategies of the left has become to cast doubt on anything harmful to their narrative, no matter how credible or undeniable.

The laptop only matters if it can be tied to JOE BIDEN accepting political favor money. Without that its just another rich drug addicted silverspoon baby. Nothing to see here!
