Investigations have been ongoing for 7 years. Where are the convictions?

His taxes were illegally released. Nothing.

An illegal spying operation was launched on his campaign. Nothing.

A special prosecutor, with unlimited power. Nothing

    Two impeachments. Nothing.

    What's the holdup?

This judge didn't rule that Trump committed a crime. That's binary thinking. You should avoid that.

Closer to 2 years. Not 7.

[quotes]His taxes were illegally released. Nothing.[/quote]Turns out they were released by someone who had legal access to them.

    It wasn't "illegal spying."

The SP's power wasn't "unlimited" and the case was well justified.

Yes, he got away with his bull **** after being justifiably impeached twice.

I don't know what you mean by "even the judge". A judge will be the LAST to show she is convinced of anything. And yet, the ruling says:

“...the government has made a prima facie showing that the former president committed criminal violations” (doesn't quite sound like "something to that effect")

As I said, we don't know the details. And we certainly can't read the mind of the judge. But to make a ruling like this in a case like this, it requires that she be VERY convinced that they committed a crime. And by "they" it could be the attorneys who lied. But that seems painfully unlikely.

NOW you can laugh. But only if you don't mind making a fool of yourself.

She didn't. She only ruled that there was EVIDENCE that Trump committed a crime. Which makes him not quite a convicted criminal (a jury would be necessary for that) But this, plus the rest of the evidence (including Trump's own public rhetoric) does pretty much make him a PROVEN criminal. But only in the eyes of a reasonable observer. Trump loyalists need not apply.

After six years they might be able to criminally charge Trump -- but don't hold your breath. It took two years to decide not to charge him for Russia collusion. The man can take a lot of hounding and keep on smiling and being popular. Most people see how Trump is being treated and don't like it.

So, essentially you've got NO EVIDENCE other that trite "the must be something here" nonsense and unsupported suppositions, and of Trump Psychosis? Imagine my surprise.

Prima facie is defined as "based on first impression . . . ." That's not proof of anything; your claim. It just means it deserves more scrutiny to determine if a crime has been committed.

Yea, I'm going to keep on :roflol:as long as you keep making claims that aren't proven.

Trump wasn't himself a criminal subject of any investigation until he left office.

He wasn't charge with "Russia Collusion" because there was no "Russia Collusion". Even if there was, there's no crime called "collusion".

That's right. And in law it means that there is enough evidence to proceed. As I said in the post: "But to make a ruling like this in a case like this, it requires that she be VERY convinced that they committed a crime."

That was her ruling. NOT just her opinion. It's a ruling. Add that to Trump's own statements and what we know about the case and there is enough evidence to say Trump is a PROVEN criminal, in the sense I explained on the OP.

It's evidence. As evidence accumulates it becomes proof to ANY rational person. Of course that wouldn't include you, because Trump supporters are under orders from the "idol" not to believe anything they see or hear. But to any rational human being, this is very strong evidence to add, which put together exceeds the rational requirement for "proof"

You do know that all trials rest upon evidence, right? Evidence doesn't prove guilt.

Ah!! Excellent! You going back to the argument that was already addressed in the OP means you didn't find the argument you were trying to make now had much traction. I'll take it!

No. I'm saying he wasn't a subject of criminal investigation himself in any of that. Mueller was open about the fact that he didn't even think he COULD indict Trump.

Bullshit he wasn't. That's not true and you know it. They been trying to put Trump in jail since the day after he announced his candidacy.

Hell, the Democrats drew up articles of impeachment before he was even inaugurated...lol

I'm sorry that basic facts are inconvenient for your agenda, but no, he was never a criminal target until after he left office. And that isn't how impeachments work.
