Quite a lot is riding on this.

Why? Trump doesn't have to prove his innocence.

 

One can HOPE.............but I fear that "politics" are more powerful than the law itself. If the law was applied in the straifgt forward way it sholdl be.....Trump should have been charged and penalized a long time ago.

Far too many actually ADMIRE his unethical, immoral, and illegal conduct......... and see it as gutsy........( when it is stupid and makes him look the fool he is) As long as folks support this conduct with the passion they seem to do.........social norms will deteriorate even further. Trump is playing everyone , the law , etc AS IF IT WERE ONE GIANT GAME....... SET FOR his PRIVATE AMUSEMENT.

What man don't seem to realize is that it is because of trump that this country has lost its impact/ power on the world stage. Other dictators found him useful....... and easy to manipulate. His intense need for their approval was his obvious weakness.........and the world saw it. To others he is a dangerous buffoon.///who was little more than a crude bully.

 

Nixon learned that.

 

It all comes down to the same things.
Bankruptcy a given.
If jail time is not ordered he stays in country and lives off the PAC fund that people will keep feeding even after his conviction(s).
If jail time is ordered then his PAC buys a nice little yacht and staffs it with young girls with aversions to blocking the sun from their bodies, a private McDonald's onboard and kept just outside any US territorial waters or those of allies with extradition deals. Trump moves on the ship. People still clueless will continue to feed his PAC fund.

 

What I find troubling is that folks continue to remain "clueless" and blind to this man's serious flaws.......... and would probably elect him again. He should not be qualified to run for office with the amount of legal and other baggage he has on him. What happened t the QUALIFICATIONS"....... for the job?? He was never "qualified" for the job t begin with........emotional instability being his prime deficiency . His poor linguistic stills and communication/ diplomatic skills........don't measure up either. He has a record of being irresponsible with money............so that is a negative too.

Along the same lines...... hard to understand why folks send him MONEY...........as he abuses funds at every opportunity.

Something is very wrong with an X potus like him gets more air time than the one in office. ( He makes sure he does........remain in the forefront of the news cycle.) Attention is his oxygen.

 

I sincerely hope Trump's attorneys rely on that cliche in planning his defense at trial.

 

If things keep going the way they have been going, there won't be any trails (designed to put him in jail). Bragg has no creditable witnesses for his witch hunt.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A lawyer for Donald Trump was back in court Friday after being ordered to answer questions before a grand jury investigating the possible mishandling of classified documents at the former president’s Florida estate.

M. Evan Corcoran entered federal court in the District of Columbia early Friday morning, one week after a federal judge ruled in favor of the Justice Department in forcing Corcoran to answer additional questions before a grand jury that has been hearing testimony for months. He did not make any comments as he arrived at the building.

Well, I'll guess we'll have to wait, for the leaks, to see if they "got" Trump or if Corcoran took the 5th.
