Actually the fact the National security issues that are apparent on there is what president Joe Biden needs to explain... how does his son have national security issues on his son's pooter...
Top politicians cell numbers while the VP uses a pseudonym email while getting info from the VP's secretary...... very detailed Ukraine information ........ private citizen Hunter texting his daughter about China arresting CIA operatives and his own oil deals with Pootin and China?
Yea... it needs to be looked into... links available upon request.

Yes and the fact that it was in someone else’s possession means the data could have been corrupted

How come none of you understaffed what chain of custody means?

There is no way that the data vacancy be proven not to have been tampered with

This is the first I've heard any of that, so yes please on the links. So far, all I've heard about was homemade porn, pics of drug usage, and emails that may (emphasis, may) implicate his old man. Any single part of what you just outlined, if true, is a serious legal issue, and something the American people have a right to know about.

To the best of my knowledge, nobody, not even Hunter or 'The Big Guy', is suggesting that is the case. If that is a hill they want to die on, they are welcome to give it a shot.

Let me be perfectly clear about a few things.

First, I don't give a $hit about what Hunter did on his own time. I'm only concerned about whether or not he was selling access to his father, or even worse, was getting pay-to-play for information (like, say, whatever was in those classified files in the garage nobody is talking about anymore) that might be detrimental to our national security.

Who he was banging, what drugs he was doing, and anything else is between him, his family, and if appropriate law enforcement. In his role as a private citizen who otherwise I would have never heard of, I do not give a crap about any of it.

Second, I am not suggesting that the allegations about Joe are true. I have no knowledge of that, nor am I aware of anything that the general public is not, so I'll have to wait for those whose job it is to look into such things to do their thing.

Third, I also don't care if his 'privacy was violated', though I might, were I the shop owner, make a case that once you leave it at my shop past the terms of our contract, the device and everything on it becomes mine, but that's is between them. But even if, legally speaking, the shop owner had no right to access that data, that doesn't get Joe off the hook for anything that comes from the fact that the cat is already out of the bag. It wasn't the police conducting a search without a warrant, at worst, it exposes the shop owner to civil liability, but it doesn't make the information inadmissable against, well, anyone. Not even Hunter. And damn sure not Joe.

Finally, this whole thing concerns me greatly. The idea that a man who spent so many years as a powerful Senator, and then became VP, and ultimately almost tripped into the Presidency may have been cooperating with foreign agents is gravely disturbing. But, I think we need to be very cautious here, because I do not want the US to become a banana republic where the new administration routinely finds some flimsy excuse to imprison the old one, like they're trying to do to Trump on what sound like unimportant charges. Especially when it's only a misdemeanor, that the State and (especially) the City of New York essentially don't prosecute anymore, the fact that the statute of limitations has expired, and the fact that even if he is guilty as charged it's for a bogus mousenuts reason.

I don't want him to be reelected to the Presidency, but I really don't want to see such a dangerous precedent set because he is Public Enemy Number One as far as the dems are concerned. Literally worse than an outright murderer, which is sad all by itself.
