All 9 Supreme Court justices push back on oversight

The ethics rules aren't laws.

And, the court isn't beholden to follow ANY law that Congress passes. The Judicial Branch is a coequal branch of government. Congress can't do anything it likes, because we have separation of powers.

 

And this is where every American could benefit from a common minimum standard for those politicians and appointed officials that affect all American lives. It should be acted on immediately by Congress and codified into a set of bare minimum laws.

 

Congress can't make laws that dictate the conduct of the courts. It's unconstitutional.

 

Then who can given your senario?

 

It would require a constitutional amendment. The only option for Congress is to impeach a justice.

Then giddy up......Roberts wife got10.5 million consulting for a law firm bringing cases and Roberts was not clearly transparent regarding this. The honor system died with The Greatest Generation. SCOTUS knows they can command rich folks "attention".
