    Former President Donald Trump will participate in a CNN presidential town hall next week in New Hampshire, the network announced Monday.

    “CNN This Morning” anchor Kaitlan Collins will moderate the event at St. Anselm College, which will air at 8 p.m. ET on May 10 and will feature the former president taking questions from New Hampshire Republicans and undeclared voters who plan to vote in the 2024 GOP presidential primary.

    This will be Trump’s first appearance on CNN since the 2016 presidential campaign.

    I am ambivalent about this town hall.

    Trump shuns any media that isn't complacent with him.

    He hasn't been challenged in an interview since at least 2017.

    Will this Town Hall be a forum where real questions will be asked of this traitor?

    I am curious as to how Trump will behave, certainly his past is not good, and his devotion to the conspiracy junk may be an issue.

    There's a ton of MAGA media outlets licking Trump's a**.

    Even if CNN - the fake news network according to Trump himself - doesn't give him visibility, the fundamental rights of the biggest traitor in US history will not be curtailed...

    Collins should totally DRILL Trump with Hardball questions, just to see if Trump will freak out and lose his cool on Nat. TV...
    Collins should BADGER Trump (unmercifully) with loaded (imflammatory) questions, just to see how Trump reacts...
    Hopefully, the audience is filled with Anti-Trump Plants who will ask him even more embarrassing questions...
    Count me in...Must-see TV...

    He'll probably blunder and show his cheat sheet. You would think the handlers would give him an earpiece feeding him exactly what to say, but he'd most likely get freaked out thinking there was voices in his head.

    Meaning? They invited him many times, but he refused to go because he thought it would be some kind of trap. Now he is going knowing its for mostly Republican audience. I don't see why you are so agitated about it. What's the big deal?

    The questions are coming from the audience.

    No, I don't have any feelings about this. Trump is campaigning, so this will give him some exposure, and CNN will get a potentially high ranking show. I might even watch it, which will be the 1st time in a long time when I watch CNN. You seemed a little emotional about it, that's all. Is there a problem?

    Oh, May 10 is Florida Panthers playoff game, which is a must-see, so I guess I'll pass CNN.
