Most Americans (71%) Oppose Transgender Agenda

It would be informative if we knew what exactly they support and what they don't when it comes to Transgenders' rights other than T-shirt slogans and cliches.

Truly, I want to know how asking transgenders to use only a restroom and a locker-room that supports their biological sex violates their rights. I want to know how asking them to play on sports teams that are teams of their same sex is violating their rights. Let's remember too, feelings are not equal to rights. I believe transgenders have the same rights as we all do. I've seen nothing that is interfering with their human rights. Maybe their feelings, but their rights, NO.

It's a secondary issue in that acceptance of the FACT that there are LGBTQ citizens in our society and that they deserve the same respect as others is the first level issue.

From there, the secondary issues of working out how we do sports, etc., in high school can get addressed.

 

I previously wrote on another thread that I would not have minded if Roe v. Wade had stayed in place, but intellectually, I, like so many others, realize why it was returned to the states. It's where it belongs for now. Eventually, it will be codified by congress as the law.

I do love the LBG community. I never wrote that I love T(s). I support DeSantis politically for now. I am politically Pro-choice but personally Pro-life. You are twisting my words. I know that's what you like to do, hence, why I don't care what you think about anything.

And I find what these christians for T**** say highly offensive but I don't seek to outlaw them and they do it right there in your face.
For every photo you show of a gay man in a thong acting do you not realize I could find dozens of straight men doing similar but since they're straight its OK?
There are extremes and I don't care for them straight or gay any more than I like disco or rap but living a life, loving whom you love, and doing your job as well as.you can then I couldn't care less about it. Why should you?

I don't care if somebody is trans, live the lifestyle you want, but they don't get to alter facts and scientific biology in the perception of everybody else.

BTW Christians are believers in Christ's teachings who try to live their lives accordingly. Sadly, they are heavily outnumbered by christians that make believe what they think Jesus said to justify their evils.

There are lot a things don’t add up but they are true.

I remember a story in 2017 , a woman in MI supported Trump and voted for him. The woman was married to a undocumented immigrant. After Trump was elected the husband was deported, then the woman was “ I didn’t think Trump would do something like that”. Really ? where was she during the campaign?

Similar story again in 2017. Many people in West VA hated Obama care, but they love ACA and all the pre-existing condition in ACA. They don’t understand ACA and Obama care is same thing.

You want more oximonam voter. In Red state voter takes the most Federal aid , and food stamps yet year after year they vote to reduce Federal aid program.

I can understand someone personally pro-choice but love DeSantis policy. They are f%%% idiot. Unfortunately in democracy they get to vote.

 

Each Christian has to answer for their own life before God. I don't see the point in personally critiquing them on an anonymous discussion board. I suppose the question is: Is evil an objective or subjective point?

 

I am wondering what the depth is discomfort is. If a trans is married, raising kids, how many people would assume the kid is being abused and groomed?

Roe was ended, because the SC is a Republican institution set on reforming American society. Read Thomas. There is no other interpretation. He's even called for an end to birth control, morning after meds (which take affect before pregnancy), etc.

Your last makes no sense. DeSantis is clearly anti-abortion and is working hard in that direction.

That's all the more startling as DeSantis claims to be all about personal freedom. He brags about defeating public health initiatives!

But, he's ardently working to deny women even just the right to personal bodily autonomy.

 

They aren’t trying to alter facts and science. When I try cutting through these arguments, I feel confused. I am basically left with, biological men should use a woman’s restroom. I honestly don’t think it’s that simple of an issue for your side. There has to be more to this.

 

Older people often seem rigid in their thinking and unprepared to consider what for them is new information about homosexuality, trans, etc. Worse still, we have news media shamelessly promoting the old thinking with misinformation.

This isn't an issue about religious faith. The thread is about a transgender agenda. Plenty of people who are non-Christian aren't having the Trans agenda either, being pushed in the public schools without parental consent, violating womens' restrooms and locker room privacy, and infiltrating women's sports.

 

I suspect you would back DeSantis in getting a federal abortion ban. I just don’t see you getting outraged by such a thing occurring.

 

There are many non-hetero households with children.

Same sex couples have been able to adopt for a long time now.

This is one reason that we need better education on sexuality in our schools. Failure to educate about diversity is how to continue propagating intolerance.

 

Family friendly is subjective. And no, I wouldn't have taken my kids to a gay pride parade.

 

I didn't see anything worse there than the Rocketts or a group of cheer leaders participating in a parade.

 

There is no impact. It changes nothing. You haven't explained why you think it matters. Giving one definition of a word doesn't invalidate other definitions and doesn't prevent her from issuing a judgment on a case.
