    https://www.foxnews.com/entertainme...deo-cut-cmt-song-skyrockets-number-1-backlash

here is a link to the music video that CMT won’t air.

won’t guarantee this link will work forever being CMT already cancelled it I don’t think YouTube will be far behind them.

That said, I agree that if this would have happened in small towns it would have likely had very different types of crowds clashing. I also would like to add that rap has songs far worse than this that were never canceled by a network. Snoop Dog comes to mind with his video where he shoots a clown that had a Donald Trump mask. So I find it remarkably shocking that this video is somehow deemed worse by the left wing media and CMT.

do you understand the term "redneck"?

Have you even ventured into rural America and not just the south? It might actually do you some good to see good old fashioned morals. To see where a handshake means something and respect isn't just a word in the dictionary.

Actually haven't ventured to the south much, but definitely have been in rural areas more than urban ones in my life. I am against old-fashioned morals, generally, and I don't believe in trust. I dispute that respect is something they're good at. But it is nice when somebody seems to have a high motivation to stick to their word.

Off all the places he could have picked, he uses the backdrop where Henry Choate got lynched. They tied him to a truck and dragged him through the streets. The "artists" sings: And keep the red dirt roads red dirt.

And here you are wondering why people are a problem with this.

Keeping red dirt roads red dirt refers to not paving them over in concrete and keeping them rural dirt roads. The dirt is red in a lot of places because of the clay content of the soil.....

and patriotism means doesn't involve hugging anything, particularly a symbol.

I live in a rural area and we have no monopoly on morals. We have as many people who snakes will not associate with as anywhere.else. Stop being a rube

    Sure sure.
But it could also mean it's red, cause you drag a corpse behind a car that just got lynched. And it could be like that, because the backdrop is where they hun what was left of him when they were done.

It's not as if no song ever made has a message A, but is meant to be interpreted differently.

I think the Left is finds this alarming because it would be different in a Small Town. One thing about the Left Wing Rioters, is with the exception of Atlanta, that stayed in areas with felon friendly prosecutors and jury pools.

Haul some of those Leftwing Militia shock troops like Antifa/BLM in front of a Small Town Jury, and they would get an entirely different outcome than in these big blue felon friendly cities that see no enemies on the Left, even if they are fire bombing local businesses.

Being Against Crime Added To List Of Things That Are Racist https://buff.ly/3Y1X7Bf

'U.S. — Country star Jason Aldean released a controversial single this month called "Try That In A Small Town" in which he laid out his belief that crime is bad. He has since been forcefully condemned by the music industry since being against crime is now considered a racist dog whistle.'

"I was shocked and saddened by the blatant racism in Aldean's song that condemned violent crime," said CMT President Brian Philips. "Crime is a beloved and noble tradition of BIPOC communities, and to condemn it is to condemn our own black brothers and sisters. I am sorry we ever allowed it to be aired."

'Aldean defended himself from the criticism on his Instagram page, saying "What on earth does this have to do with race? I never mentioned race, you guys did! You guys are racist! What's wrong with you people?" Unfortunately, no one read his statement as Instagram soon removed the post.'

'Industry experts joined in denouncing Aldean. "Most of us secretly agree with him, but it's not cool to say that," said Universal Music Group CEO Cindy Mabe. "So, please don't tell anyone I said that. Hey! Stop writing that down!"'

'At publishing time, a group of heavily armed Antifa troops was seen outside Aldean's home to teach him a valuable lesson about being against crime.'

It's self-defense, not vigilantism. Big difference between protecting your family and property from a direct threat and taking the law in your own hands.

Reminds me of African tribes with competent chieftains .
You will typically find those sort of communities in places that support isolationism.

Guarantee you that won't happen at the store where I work at. I was here during the hurricane and in the immediate aftermath by myself without electricity but you can bet that I was not sitting here without adequate protection.

No one tried anything which was good.

Indeed. Lynch black people, make the road turn red by dragging the corps behind a car, and hand them up at the court house. We all get it.

    This is a:

People who do not know, hear a nice song against rioting, and red "dirt" roads.
People who know, recognize the courthouse building of the clip. They turned the street red in that small town by dragging the dirty corpse of a lynched black person behind a car. What was left of the corps was hung at the court house.

And you clearly did not know.

Nobody can deny that it is possible to intrepid the text as dragging a lynched crops behind your car to make the dirty red again, since dirt red roads is pretty much being sung a lot in that song. And than hang the remains at the court house, since the exact court house is to be seen in the clip over and over.

All that you could say is that it's weirdly far fetched to believe a song can be intrepid in different ways.
But there is nothing new to songs having having a dark actual interpretation.
Hillary Clinton used the song "when the lady smiles" by the Golden Earring as the entry song of any given stage event.
That song is actually about a serial killer / rapist who can't handle himself when a lady smiles.
Awesome song by the way. The video clip is weird to say the least.

So evidently this song is offensive to some but it's not offensive to sing about selling dope shooting up the hood and all manner of violence....?

Indeed. There is a not so far fetched interpretation of that song possible for lynching black people. Who knew that was a bit much.

I haven't heard it but I'll have to take your word for it. It's much better to sing about a criminal lifestyle in general and indiscriminate violence. That's a more positive message people can get on board with.

The problem is that the guy sings about dirt red roads a lot in front of a court house where in the past they made their roads dirty red with the blood of a lynched black person being dragged behind a car. And the remains were hung at the court house. It's not exactly a first that a clip in combination of text gives a massively different interpretation.
