https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2023/07/26/politics/desantis-staffer-campaign/index.html Kudos to DeSantis for firing this guy immediately (although he literally had no choice). But is it any surprise that the DeSantis campaign would attract neonazis in the first place? I’m sure he felt right at home. But he made a grave mistake. Republican staffers are supposed to maintain the illusion that their candidates are not bigots. I guess this guy missed the memo.
So let me see if I got this straight..... They immediately fire the staffer who retweeted this image but somehow that's evidence that they're all racist....
You've gone further than I ever have. I have never considered racism to be woke. But I do agree that wokeness is negative for society just like racism.
just like disagreeing with conservative economic policy automatically make people Marxist, socialist, communist. Last 50 years conservative had no issue calling Democrats - Marxist, socialist, communist because they disagree with conservative policy. "for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap."
1. Allowed the change in education that says it can be taught that slavery had “benefits” for slaves. 2. Changed the education curriculum when discussing race in the first place. 3. Have a staffer that made/sent out that Nazi video mentioned in the OP in the first place. Bonus: seems to attract a ton of white supremacists as supporters for his campaign and doesn’t seem to think that’s a problem.
Yea it is, the fact that you don’t see a problem with any of that isn’t helping but then, I guess that’s just who you are.
Might be a reason for that. Anyway, this **** seems to keep happening to DeSantis an awful lot during this election, so even in the off chance he’s not racist he has a lot more in common with white supremacists than he likes to admit and he appeals to them.
That’s left wing logic unfortunately. Joe is friends with white supremacists, but they think it’s the right that “appeals to them” lol.
Over the past couple of months, I've learned quite a bit about posters from their posts. I'm grateful that they no longer feel the need to hide how they think and feel.
Numbers 2 and 3 aren't even close, but the case can certainly be made that attempting to make the history of slavery less bad is... That's near textbook racism in my book...
It didn't look like re-tweet, since it was a DeSantis campaign ad. As of now he has fired 40% of his staff as his campaign keeps tanking.
