A lot of that is just straight out of the State department handbook but the state department hasn't been right on the middle east in several decades. Like it or not Hamas just gave Israel all the permission they need to go in and clean out that nest of vipers once and for all and based on Netanyahu's comments that is exactly what he plans on doing. Are there things that could change that? Of course but most of them are highly unlikely. And the Hezzies getting in on the action isn't one of them.

Like we should care? Tell us what Majorie Taylor Greene says.

Do you have anything to say about what's happening in Israel or are just treating us to the American culture wars?

One of the questions I have that none of the talking heads on TV are discussing is Hamas and Iran knew Israel would respond. So I'm sitting here thinking they might have tons of booby traps and huge bombs in Gaza just waiting for the Israelis to get close enough to them before they detonate everything.

That would depend on some one being able to crawl over under the ruble and find the switch and the air attack not setting them off as secondary explosion.

We haven't "carpet bombed" anyone in decades. We've gone PRECISION (laser guided, GPS guided, etc.) to avoid civilian casualties.

You know what's in there? Really? You must think everyone is as clueless as you are.

My views have developed over 60 years of study on the dispute.
You'd have to be dumber than a sack of hammers to believe Israel will be able to "clean out that nest of vipers once and for all" when there are 2m people in Gaza.
Yeah, well, Netanyahu is known to exaggerate.
    Sharon pulled out of Gaza.

Did he have the right idea or not?

The United States unless you're going to pretend someone born and raised in California isn't "we"--unless, I suppose, you aren't an American.

There will be nowhere near 2 million people left in Gaza after this. Bombed day and night, buildings flattened, no power, no fuel, no food....

UNRWA textbooks glorify terror, deny Israel’s existence, and when called on it claim it was all an 'error'.

UNRWA's textbooks asked children 'to do mathematics problems using martyrs from the First Intifada to calculate equations, told students to “defend the motherland with blood,” and pushed the claim that Israel deliberately dumps radioactive and toxic waste in the West Bank.'

“UNRWA is complicit in radicalizing schoolchildren through the glorification of terrorists, encouragement to violence and teaching of blood libels to Palestinian schoolchildren,”

“UNRWA-created material is, in places, more extremist than PA material it complements.”

'Israel is omitted from maps in the UNRWA-produced materials, with the entire territory being labeled as a modern-day Palestine with no demarcation lines. When it is mentioned, Israel is referred to mostly as “The Enemy” or the “Zionist Occupation.”'

Why do you think that Trump cut off funding? Are you ok with the systematic dehumanization of Jews with US taxpayer funding support? And yes, Biden restored this funding.

UNRWA's 'materials characterized Dalal Mughrabi, who took part in the 1978 Coastal Road Massacre, as a role model, contrary to the UN’s position that she was a terrorist. Mughrabi and several other Fatah terrorists hijacked a bus and killed 38 civilians, 13 of them children, and wounded over 70.'

'“UNRWA has for years refused point-blank to make public its ‘Curriculum Framework’ that it claims combats incitement in the Palestinian textbooks. Now we know why: some of its own content is even worse than that of the Palestinian Authority,”

When Trump's re-elected he'll promptly cut off these US payments to fund UNRWA's dehumanization of Jews and shame on the Republicans in Congress for not shutting down the government until Biden's resumption of these blood payments was cut off again.

'UNWRA chief Phillipe Lazzarini' after he was caught red-handed, 'asserted that the inciteful material had been published by accident.'

Unacceptable. Why would you want the US to fund such hate?

'UNRWA curriculum describes Jews as “impure and inherently treacherous” and teaches that murdering Israelis leads to glory and martyrdom.' UNRWA has been repeatedly caught feeding Palestinian children this poison, and each time they claim an "error" and swear that they purged it. Why do you support continuing to fund them?

'“The Palestinians sacrifice their blood to liberate Jerusalem,” and “Arabic Drill Cards” for 9th graders that say, “When the [Muslim] nation is negligent in protecting al-Aqsa, then the Jews will dare to defile it.”

And the nation Israel is not shown on area maps.

'six UNRWA teachers were placed on administrative leave for uttering hate speech. UN Watch, a Geneva-based NGO, identified “more than 120 UNRWA teachers and other staff who praise Hitler, glorify terrorism and spread antisemitism.”'

'Teachers at US-Funded Palestinian Schools Promote Hate and Violence Against Jews on Social Media, Report Finds'

'Teachers 'regularly call to murder Jews and create teaching materials that glorify terrorism,' report says'

'The report identifies 133 United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) educators and staff members who "were found to promote hate and violence on social media," praising terrorist attacks on Israel and expressing support for Hamas, the militant group operating in the Gaza Strip. UNRWA is a U.S.-funded entity that operates in the Palestinian territories.'

'Another 82 UNRWA teachers and staffers at more than 30 schools are reported to be involved in "drafting, supervising, approving, printing, and distributing hateful content to students," according to the report.'

'The report shines a light on how UNRWA-run schools employ anti-Semitic instructors and use educational materials that advocate for the destruction of Israel.'

'One lesson presented to ninth-grade students at an UNRWA school described the firebombing of Jewish bus as a "barbecue party." Martyrdom is also described in another fifth-grade lesson as one of "the most important meanings of life."'

So yes, I want Biden's resumption of the funding of this filth that Trump had cut off, stopped.
