But the majority of non-MSM reporting on the internet is actually the meat of Democratic free speech. It fulfills the void left by the mainstream, biased reporting and politically-controlled media. So, I agree with you that "in some cases" people can become "stupider" but I think for the most part the internet gives people the opportunity to weigh the alternatives against one another and make choices based on each the individual's knowledge, logic, and experience.

Quick check on history should show you that Israel was attacked first after the two State solution was created after WW2 and Britain controlled the land.

During the Ottomans empire Palestine wasn't consider a distinct state either. Palestinians were just a distinct sect of the Ottoman Empire.

So it technically wasn't their state to demand either.

There are 12.7 Million Palestinians and only 2 million of them live in Gaza. 6 Million live in other Arab countries and the rest are scattered elsewhere, and clearly some are in Canada. US has some Palestinian immigrants, but its not a large community. Not sure if those people support Hamas, or Palestinians in general. The demonstrators down here in Florida root for Palestinians, not Hamas. IMO its not a good time to root for either. So far the pro-Israel demonstrators vastly outnumber the Palestinian ones.

Israel needs to deal with Hamas, and now they finally have legit justification to go all-in, and it looks like a ground invasion will take place soon. Houses will be destroyed to minimize Israeli losses, and civilians will no doubt die. Hamas has a history of using terror to provoke Israeli retaliation and then use dead civilians it for propaganda, but they went too far this time, and I doubt anyone cares about collateral casualties.
