I skimmed through some of the Mandate for Leadership piece. Seemed pretty rational to me.

Good for them, hope they get it done.

Any single moron can do stupid things. When the entire Democrat caucus votes for it, they own it.

My god, you are literally arguing that votes don’t matter just to spin your BS about Republicans.

    How pathetic

Just as ridiculous a claim as when the ass clowns on the Right make the same type of claim about the Left. You’re all a bunch of clowns. Grow the phuck up.

While the republicans diddle with a budget and a new speaker the democrats twirl and point.

They are quite right, the republicans need to get their poop in a group.

But the real issue is that our president can do a whole lot of leading. He isn't, is he?

For starters he could tell the senate to yank the military abortion money out and fight that fight another day.
And just like that, no excuse to hold up nominations and promotions.
    Except maybe they aren't qualified.

And as for israel/HAMAS, the president doesn't need congress to do a whole lot of what needs to be done.

But it makes a great scapegoat to blame republicans for the INABILITY of our president to do more than sit in his basement and fill his depends.

I’m very sorry that you don’t know that votes matter and how politicians vote determines who is responsible for what.

Feel free to make a thread arguing why you think votes don’t matter and responsibility for what passes and doesn’t pass has nothing to do with votes! I’d love to hear your argument and watch while the entire forum laughs at you

The Democrats in the House would only have voted to keep McCarthy if they could make a deal with him. But he had already crossed the democrats by not keeping his promise on a deal I forgot which, but he was considered untrustworthy. Reputation matters.

That's because they don't consider their representatives in the House to be Americans first. They consider them to be Democrats first. And apparently, they're right.

Haven't you seen by now? Absolutely nothing is the oatmeal stains fault.

It seems that all Democrats can do is make excuses for the president and blame someone else.

It really does make you wonder when he plans to actually take the reigns and become president.

Cool so I set a bomb off and you’ll only blame the manufacturer.

go ahead, make that thread about votes not mattering. I’d love to see it. Let’s take this issue to the wider forum. Throw in a poll too.

You can title it “congress can’t ever be held responsible for their votes: only those who craft the legislation they vote on”.

You ain’t gonna do that though huh? Geeeeee…..I wonder why not???

    ROFL

You don’t even get the analogy LOL.

Democrats set the bomb off Matt’s just the manufacturer.

you only blame the manufacturer and the Democrats who blew up the speakership don’t count cause you say so.

Geezus can’t even understand analogies! So sad! No wonder you think votes don’t count!

So when ya making that thread? Oh right, never!

Hard to believe that anyone would choose Molester Matt's betrayal of McCastrated as a molehill worthy of dying on.

The (radical) Conservative plan to takeover the country

Given the scope of Xtofascist 2025 Manifesto it needs to have each aspect focused on in a series of political ads where, for example, Day 17 demonstrates how cancelling SNAP means no food on the table for children.

I am not surprised you expect Democrats to make quorum for the Republicans. The only thing you are “clearing up” is just how far gone the RP is.

Democrats have voted for leader. You just don’t like who they have picked.
