He's threatening to leave NATO unless they:

-all nations must significantly increase their defense spending.

-the principle that "an attack on one member is an attack on all members" must be dropped.

This man is clearly working for Russia, China and Iran.

 

You can be sure Russia, China, Iran.... all our foes will be spending a lot of money in propaganda on the next election cycle.to get him elected.

 

Absolutely.

 

Leave it to Trump to help destabilize the world even further.

 

The second we leave NATO, Russia will overrun Ukraine.

The Baltic states will be next.

 

So Trump is threatening to leave NATO, repeat, THREATENING if they don't pay their fair share which is a concept every lib on this board understands and repeats ad nauseam.

If NATO countries are so unconcerned about their own defense, then why are libs here freaking out?

 

I don't think so but they will be thrilled to hear about his plan. A plan that was blocked during his previous admin and will be blocked again in the Senate if the worst happens.

 

We don't pay dues to NATO. Neither do the other NATO countries. And we aren't spending on our own military just because we think that the other NATO countries aren't spending enough on theirs.

 

Trump is not president.

It's the Biden administration that has Iranian agents working in the DOD.

 

US taxpayers have been getting ass raped by a majority of NATO members for decades.....and here comes the chorus of ass-rape lovers complaining about Trump using common sense.

NATO is a tool used by the MIC to grift American taxpayers with forever wars. If ever a light bulb goes off in your head, at least understand what NATO is. You are a lot poorer because of NATO.

Why should we protect NATO countries?

Why do we bear the overwhelming majority of that cost and responsibility?

In fact, after saving Europe's ass twice, we should have gotten about 50 years of free membership.

What we actually witnessed was quite the opposite.

The US spends the amount necessary to ensure ability to prevent aggression and protect our interests. More importantly, our spending is mostly to DISCOURAGE aggression.

We show our force often saying "don't do that", and usually that works.

If our allies funded appropriately, we could absolutley spend less. But they don't. Never have.

Nobody is forcing us to have as big a military as we do. We could reduce our military spending by 50% and we would still be members of NATO.

 

What are Trump's demands? Because the last time he was at the table, he was trying to tell NATO to smarten up because he knew what Putin was wanting to do and then finally did...

 

Trump wants NATO to stop seeing an attack on one member as an attack on all members.
Which of course is a cornerstone of any mutual defense treaty.

 

He did the same thing during his term - And was thanked by the NATO leader for getting some cheapskate nations to pay their dues.

 

Maybe this will convince his minions to leave this bozo who might be going as senile as Biden. He’s 78 years old. He needs to retire. Learn to live with it.
