Then why is there a huge report written by the IPCC called “Mitigation of climate change”?
    https://www.ipcc.ch/report/ar6/wg3/

There were hundreds of experts inputting into this - it would be a shame if it were ignored

LOL, nice dodge. Trying to bluster your way out of a hopeless situation. The real answer is obvious.

Yep "hundreds of experts" pre-screened and trusted by the UN to mouth the correct mantras and findings.

You first. Show us how "Global average temperature" is calculated and what value it has to science.

It means that unless you can definitively tell us what the natural causes of those spikes in CO2 levels (which occurred much faster and much higher) were, then you cannot definitively tell us that those same natural causes aren’t causing the spike in CO2 levels today.

No. Which means that it increased due to some sort of natural cause. A natural cause that COULD be occurring today.

"The researchers, from Statistics Norway, the government’s official data agency, also address the apparent “high degree of consensus among many climate researchers that the temperature increase of the last decades is systematic (and partly man-made),” while noting that “is certainly the impression conveyed by the mass media.”"

Actually, it is a valid question. There two basic ways of measuring the global temperature. Using satellite data and the average spot data using thermometers. Neither is particularly accurate when measuring global temperature.

Satellite data uses IR data. However, cloud formations interfere with those measurements. It is usually measuring the temperature of the ground itself, which is usually hotter or colder than the air temperature.

Spot data using thermometers is normally measured at airports and it is questionable whether it is representative of the surrounding countryside. The measurements are taken on the order of ten feet above the earth's surface, but may vary somewhat. There are few measurements over water which covers over 70% of the earth's surface.

It is questionable when they start talking about global temperature changes of a degree or less. The data is not that accurate.

Hmmmm - you DO know don’t you that anyone with the qualifications can submit and participate? I mean I know that does not align with the current right wing conspiracy theory.
Matter of fact anyone can sign up to participate https://www.ipcc.ch/how-to-participate-in-the-ipcc/

Now IF you theory were true surely there would be hundreds of scientists speaking out against it. BTW when was the last time you posted a citation?

Errr - yes we can - see there are these things called isotopes………. and the isotope of fossil fuel CO2 is different to naturally produced CO2

So in other words, you're presenting nothing to back up your claim that humanity does better when it's warmer. We're supposed to take it on faith.

Northern europe does better when it's warmer. However, that's a small part of the world.

No. I pointed out that your beliefs seem to be religious in nature, not that they're absurd, as you don't seem to have any data to back up those beliefs.

Excellent. If that's true, you'll be able to show us exactly where in the IPCC reports it says a warmer world is better for humans. Please do so.

That would be the part you deleted. Curious, that. Here, let me show you again.

You know what to do now. Go into nitpicking mode. Get huffy and tell everyone "Well, I didn't say they _totally_ ignore it!".

Why are you so absolutely fixated on 1985? It's irrelevant. The later projections got better. This surprises you?

Do you have any actual point? I mean, other than you really like to hear yourself talk about things that aren't relevant to anything.

Once you've used the "ANY DATA THAT CONTRADICTS ME IS A CONSPIRACY" argument, that's a signal that nobody should take you seriously.
