Trump literally did try to destroy democracy. No one in modern US history has made a greater effort to do so. This is objectively the case. And Trump and his supporters did far worse than just pressure electors to change their votes (which they also did). No, there was no significant campaign for electors to change their votes when Trump won. Whoever told you that is an idiot, a liar, or both. Both impeachment charges had merit (unlike the current investigation into Biden). And, no there is no double standard here . . . except from the Trump supporters. Do you require additional context?

 

Trump and Republicans think Democrats rigged 2020. Given their efforts to reverse 2016 and throw out Trump twice who can blame them for being suspicious.

Using our congressional system to present justifications for removal from office is NOT A CRIME. Nor is it a crime to present evidence to courts concerning election issues - something Trump did more than 50 times, which is his legal right.
