A Florida day care is under fire after a 2-year-old black girl was photographed being handcuffed and fingerprinted by a white child pretending to be a cop as part of a Rosa Parks reenactment.

“I was just like, ‘There’s no way they’re doing this in a 2-year-old classroom,'” the girl’s dad told the outlet.

“It was our daughter who had her hands restrained behind her back by another child wearing a police vest,” he said.

“What I keep reliving in my mind is the look on our daughter’s face.”

The couple quickly pulled their daughter out of the center, where the mother said she spoke with the director.



So what's this? CRT before ABCs? 2 year olds? really?

 

Sounds like the part of Rosa must've been an easy casting choice...
they believe is the only black child at the day care

 

"In the spirit of the moment, the class spontaneously decided to act out the elements of Ms. Parks’ story, including her arrest for refusing to give up her seat at the front of the bus,” it said."

I guess handcuffs and fingerprinting supplies just happen to be on the second shelf under "Creative Ideas" in the back of the room, eh?

The parents of the little white boy who was chosen to play the racist cop should also be furious.
That is what DeSantis will claim as the reason he whitewashes Black History, so other white kids don't have to live with the shame and guilt bestowed on this innocent kid reenacting white racist history.

It's time to get back to the basics

 

I don't have children, but it seems odd they were doing a history lesson. At 2 yrs old, I doubt they will remember any of it 15min after the lesson is over. Unless I seriously miss my guess here, I am confident those children would enjoy some other games even more.

I agree this is not a political issue, unless the school staff has gone absolutely mental on politics.

Nobody on the right is gonna do this, and then proudly post it online for approval from their peers. That has BLUE all over it. I was gonna be nice and leave that out but looks like people made it partisan anyway.

 

They're BOTH toddlers, neither one of them knows anything about what's happening. Instead of seeing this as the pure torture that it is, you want to make a political talking point. Both children were abused, and forget the school district what about the sick 'teacher' that basically oversaw this.

If making political talking points is okay now, this is why the school systems are corrupted and falling apart at the administrative level and its time for
parents to take control of their kids education.

They are in essence indoctrinating critical race theory to toddlers!! Your inability to see this is entirely on you. Normal day cares should be teaching basic skills. Square peg, square hole. To get along with other children, draw, play and basics cooperation skills.. Not a political agenda of white privilege and oppression. They are toddlers for goodness sake!

These actions are merely instilling more hate and setting the wrong narrative on how these children SHOULD grow up.
