There are many ways to get an ID without a driver's license. I had a state issued ID non-license for a couple of years due to medical problems. I couldn't drive but I still had an ID.

Where is a "right" to drive mentioned in the Constitution? The "right" to bear arms is No.2 in the Bill of Rights.

well one of the real issues facing society -in addition to Democrats creating legions of people who look to the government (Democrats) to support them is increasing automation of production lines and the fact that things like car manufacturing, the Postal service etc are going to need less and less lower to somewhat skilled labor meaning people who don't have hi-tech skills are not going to cut it in the future economy. We also have a problem with low skilled people tending to have higher birthrates than highly skilled individuals. I went to a college that turned out tons of doctors, lawyers, MBAs and people with advanced engineering etc degrees. Many of them didn't start having children until they made partner in the law firm or investment bank, or were in a medical practice they had ownership interest in etc.

 

Do you really think someone who might mistake a son or daughter as an intruder should have a firearm? I'm for setting up a system where an individual has the right to prove they're fit.

 

What next? Some sort of "test" to be able to vote? Maybe a "test" to be able to sya certain things? Maybe a "test" to qualify when and how you should go to church?

 

What's your solution for dealing with people who are unable to earn a living?

Yup. AI is going to present all sorts of problems... and solutions. But like I said... BUMS have the right to be hungry and cold. They also have th right to get off their butt and make a life. They have the right to be comfortable... on THEIR dime... not MINE.
