They have neither courage or integrity- or they would act in the best interests of the nation, follow the rules, debate on the realities- and damn sure wouldn't need to pretend they are blind to the corruption in their own party. The nation has rules- but unless they are enforced for everyone, they can't work.

People with courage and integrity can face reality, sit down together, find they have common primary goals, and work together to solve problems and serve the nation- with the help of those rules.
But when those without that courage and integrity are in positions of leadership- that can't happen because they won't allow it, and in that situation, the process is handicapped and paralyzed. Order turns into chaos, and only those lacking courage and integrity will embrace that; they will ignore rules and destroy the process.

Chaos appeals to people who lack courage and integrity- it give them a way to hide from that ugly truth, and to distort the perception of the people and promote more chaos.
Everybody- LOSES in that condition. They don't care becuase they can't see beyond the end of their nose.

The nation is suffering that kind of chaos right now- and the solution is to tell all those in leadership that if you don't follow the rules of honor- you lose your job. THAT is integrity in governance.
