My Duke Blue Devils had a 4-0 start to the season (including, beating then #9 Clemson 28-7) and were looking very good, until an error-filled first half against #11 Notre Dame; there was a second half comeback and the Devils almost won it, but the Irish converted a 4th-and-16 that would have ended the game if they didn't make it. But they did, scored, and Duke's very good QB suffered an ankle sprain right after. It went from a likely victory coming from behind, to disaster in a few seconds. Now we're still ranked #17 and we are 4-1 but without our QB for this weekend's game against the Wolfpack.
when WA shows that they are not on par with the other teams, folks will wonder why FSU was out and WA was in
Washington is in because they won the PAC12 going undefeated and playing a much tougher schedule than FSU and beating a top 10 team twice.
It's too bad that WA isn't playing MI or AL It's akin to when TCU made it. They were given an education when they played GA
They should have been given the opportunity though. They can win in a different way. Running the hall and defense.
