Just because you run your fingers to type something doesn't mean what comes out is true. Maybe you can cite someone in any meaningful position and then we can talk.

The U.S. Navy Isn’t Ready to Take On Iran
That’s why, for now, tough talk may remain just that.

The reports on Houthi attacks come with some delay and seldom correctly explain the true nature of the vessel hit. Neutral shipping in the Red Sea (i.e. those with no connections to Israel or the US) can identify themselves as many do these days and not be attacked.

    Two things:

    1. This is a rogues gallery of folks who have been wrong about almost every foreign policy decision they've supported.

I had referred to PNAC and the "offensive" mission charted for US foreign policy. You had responded saying:

Those which have entered Iranian waters have been apprehended. And when they pass through the Straits of Hormuz, they are properly warned to not veer off in directions they shouldn't, including what @Reasonablerob calls BATTLESTAR GALACTICA but in reality a sitting duck.

I only wish actual US military planners will prove as utterly clueless as you guys. Operating in the Persian Gulf, behind Iran's "boats" are thousands of Iranian missiles, drones, hundreds of aircraft, dozens of submarines, and much more.

    90,000 tons of sitting duck?

    Your point being?

Yeah, that's what they did to us when we were in the Gulf, it wasn't impressive, like gnats to a bear.

My bet is that a significant number of the PNAC goons are also members of AIPAC

AIPAC, along with Christians United for Israel, work hand-in-hand with not just these folks but a larger array of figures whose plans for the US involved and involves destroying the countries in the region. They used to pretend they were an ideological crusade to spread "democracy" in the region but have since given up that pretense.

Revealing how the PNAC list has become the Never Trumpers list.

Those folks used to be extremely popular and well supported by groups such as Christians United for Israel and, of course, AIPAC. But the neocons ended up being a liability when their obvious lies became obvious even to many of their followers and, more importantly, the "forever wars" and "nation-building" had begun taking its toll on their base. In the meantime, a new figure arrived who appealed to many of the sentiments they had carefully fed into the minds of their brainwashed followers on the issues they cared about most, packaged without any of the "intellectual" nonsense of the neocons. So they tried shifting their tactics to the guy who could deliver for them, namely Trump, although that obviously didn't sit well with those losing out and being sidelined by someone who had (and fed on) an innate dislike of all so-called intellectuals. Even those who had joined forces with the right wingers in American politics. The neocons, in the meantime are split: they are more comfortable on some levels with Biden than Trump, but also know the Democratic base has enough voices who aren't driven by loyalty to their sacred cow, Israel, while the same is only true of a smaller, less organized, faction among Republicans.

Precisely the opposite. They have resoundingly rejected Trump and Trump rejected them.
