After Mike Johnson Advanced Israel Aid Package, AIPAC Cash Flowed In (theintercept.com) And people thought Russia influenced our elections. Israel just straight-up buys votes in Congress. The U.S. is currently Israel's lapdog.
We need to sever ties with the Israeli government until they stop the ethnic cleansing of Palestine and stop the slaughter of innocent Palestinian civilians. Sanction Israel, making any donations from Israel or Israeli support groups illegal until the Israeli government pledges to end the carnage. Also, either make a two state solution or make it law that 50% of all government representatives in Israel be Palestinian, with no US dollars going to Israel unless this happens. Or something else along those lines.
That might be nice. However, having AIPAC register with FARA would be a good start. It would also help if we prevented anyone who had a citizenship or was offered a citizenship to another country certain security clearances.
There is no two-state solution - there never was. Unless someone is willing to put boots on ground or supply the Palestinians with high tech weapons, this is not a solution. Bantustans won't work any better than they worked in South Africa. First, the support for Israel needs to be cut. Then, like South Africa, discussions can be made to figure out what to do next. I believe the only real and just solution is a one state solution which abolishes National Socialism of Israel and sets up a capitalist society which guarantees the rights of all of its residents.
"israel" needs to be moved to a part of the world that will actually take them, possibly somewhere in Africa or Australia. Then those little bastards won't be grifting US taxpayers 24/7/365 and the Middle East will become a lot more stable. The whole reason Iran is building nukes is because of the pricks in israel. In other words, the state of israel in its present location is an existential threat to the US.
True, but having all of Israel in one single place is dangerous, it has to be spread like it is now, but even more. Some in Manhattan, some in Hollywood, some in Massachusetts, some in Germany, and so on. Jewish / Muslim people got along fine until Zionism was developed around 1900 and then further advanced by the American Christian Fundamentalists. The number of times I've heard 'they've been fighting for a thousand years' is too many to count. Someone told that lie on the West Wing and naive Americans have felt so wise to repeat it ever since. It is of course a total lie.
I'd like to know what exactly is Israel. Is it the settlers? I understand a lot of those are American Christian Fundamentalists. And those are a major part of the friction with Palestine and surrounding countries. Or Netanyahu? He's not all that popular in Israel I've heard, but is supported by Joe Biden, who is himself not all that popular. What would it take to fix the Israeli/Palestine problem?
The following link is for Our Narrativeā¦ Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. PDF.pdf (palestinechronicle.com) To the article linking the pdf. Hamas Document Reveals: Why We Carried Out Al-Aqsa Flood Operation - SUMMARY & PDF - Palestine Chronicle American Christian Fundamentalists are only tourists at best. Christians do not have the right or privilege to immigrate to Israel. In what amounts to being Israel's constitution "Nation Law", Israel is for the Jews alone. Israel doesn't define what a Jew is really. You can be Atheist and if you are descended from certain Jews, you are considered a Jew. The second a Jew converts to Christianity or Islam, he ceases to be a Jew. Atheism is ok while Christianity and Islam is not. So, for Israel, Jew is a trait that is primarily inherited. Nearly all Israeli's are recent settlers to Palestine and most come from Eastern Europe and Russia. For example, Netanyahu is Polish. A lot of people say Netanyahu is done for. I'm not personally involved in Israeli politics, but I doubt he will leave before "major combat operations" are done. You have to understand that most of the Israeli's agree with the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians. The only difference is one wants to do it slowly and gradually and the other groups want to do it quickly. The vast majority of Israeli's agree with the end goal of no Palestinians in Palestine. Israeli's hate Netanyahu for not protecting Israel to begin with. Except for some who have family members hostage, all the other Israeli's want all Gazans dead or expelled. Some have already started designing their beachfront homes in Gaza. So even if Netanyahu leaves office, it means mostly nothing to the situation in Israel. I would suggest reading the PDF. However, the "fix" may end up being the complete ethnic cleansing/genocide of the Palestinians from Palestine. Many who post here support that conclusion even if they are reluctant to say so. If the Palestinians can hold on, enough pressure may be applied to allow the Palestinians equal status under the law in Palestine. This would be a long fight similar to South Africa's fight.
My objection and criticism is not towards the Israeli people, it is against the criminal government there which has been practicing military aggression against the Palestinians for many long years.
I support Isreal! Helping them protect themselves from hamas is the morally correct thing to do. The military aggression of the Palestinians needs to stop.
"Make no mistake about it," Finkelstein wrote in one post. "In order to stifle dissent from Israel's genocidal war in Gaza, the Jewish billionaire class has launched the most concerted assault on academic freedom in the history of our country."
Top ten Pro-Israel Recipients. Biden's definitely bought and paid for.
You are saying that the "cash flowed in" prior to his statement in order to buy votes? What votes? Where did the cash go?
