There is no such thing protest vote/ voting my conscience. Only thing voting has is consequence. I vote for 3rd party, the consequence is Trump is the President.
This is not about who "earns" your vote. It's about looking at the alternative options available as to how the country will look in the next four years, and choosing the one that least inconveniences YOU. You either make that choice, or you throw away your vote. A third party is NOT an option as to how the country will look for the next four years....
that's nebulous BS. scientists were all over the place. economists were all over the place. Shutting down the economy was what some wanted-economists noted the damage that would do. when Trump tried to ban flights from China, the woke left howled racism. The bottom line was there was no clear path to deal with covid. every suggestion had plenty of deleterious side effects. tell me how your beloved Biden is UNITING the USA.
wow, something I finally agree with you on. If the choice is Biden or Trump, there is only one choice for those who want to minimize the damage to this country. I suspect that is where we disagree
I am hoping all those who feel that way do leave the USA. I wish all those pampered Hollywood "stars" would have made good on their promises to leave in early 2017
I don't recall any of us who had lived during the Carter regime calling Obama or Clinton the worst ever. Biden might finally take that title from peanut boy
Trump calls Obama one of the worst presidents | CNN Donald Trump: Obama is 'Worst President' in U.S. History, Maybe (newsweek.com) Cheney: Obama is "the worst president of my lifetime" - CBS News Rep. Quayle resurrects Obama "worst president" criticism - CBS News 7/2/14 - Obama Is First As Worst President Since WWII, Quinnipiac University National Poll Finds; More Voters Say Romney Would Have Been Better | Quinnipiac University Poll "Obama is worse, Republicans say 79 - 7 percent and independent voters say 41 - 31 percent."
I never said that either of those two were the worst in history. I didn’t agree with them, especially Obama, but Clinton was the best Democrat president since John Kennedy. If he had kept his cigars in a humidor, he would have been better off. But then, when you look at what he married, you could acquire a level of understanding. Biden is doing short and long term damage to this country. He is destroying the monetary system with reckless spending and energy sector by cutting off government leases. The mess he made in the Afghan withdrawal was only the beginning of his foreign policy failures. He’s made us a laughing stock abroad with his weakness. Finally there is the issue of his mental health. His mind is going fast, and it’s obvious. A thoughtful president would not run for a second term, but not Biden. He insists on staying in power.
Carter was an honest, decent man, but he was in way over his head. Biden is also in over his head, but one could never call him honest or decent. He’s a crook who is most interested in increasing the family fortune.
I voted for Trump twice but I don't believe much of what he says. Carter was far far worse than Obama-the only advantage Carter had is that he didn't appoint any bad Supreme Court Justice-unlike Obama.
I would disagree with you on Carter because I was part of the Olympic movement in 1980. No I didn't make the team to Moscow but I was close and several friends did including a defending gold medalist who I work with today. Carter threatened athletes who attempted to do what the British athletes did. (compete under the IOC flag). he threatened several with having the IRS investigate their sponsors or the athlete's own business dealings. Passports were threatened to be suspended or voided. Carter is a POS in my book though I will concede he did lots of good with HFH later in life
I knew that Carter pulled out of the 1980 Olympics. I was not aware that he went after athletes who were looking for alternative ways to get their often one chance to compete. Yes, that was mean and nasty. His use of IRS as a weapon was Nixonisk to say the least.
A good question. NRO put it best: "Joe Biden is an a$$ hole. Always was, always will be". He ran telling everyone who would listen that he wasn't going to shut down the country, he was going to shut down the virus. Once in office, he did the opposite and we are still paying a price for his treachery. Then he engaged in real Fascism. He used his power to collude with the private sector to get people fired if they didn't take the clot shot and more. No wonder they need to import new impoverished people to bribe. Enough of the USA is on to the Left. I hear you. I'll be honest, I had no idea how much damage this political bukkake drenched whore could do so fast. When this race capo isn't inciting racial violence against white people he's opening our borders to import people who actually might vote for him when able to do so... and maybe before then. For all the talk of the economy doing well, my own retirement account has not recovered from his 1st year damage to us. I am now poorer than I was 4 years ago. My kids can't buy homes as housing pricing has doubled while we import millions of nation rapists to replace us who get free housing. With house prices doubling you'd think there would be a building spree. That there isn't? I'd have to think politics and policy is involved. Remember when AOC said Trump's economy only looked good cuz everyone had 2 jobs? Well, that number is actually up now under Brandon. https://www.usatoday.com/story/mone...ng-multiple-jobs-under-inflation/71441008007/ I really don't know if we can survive another 4 years of him and his partner, Cackles.
One guy, I will not mention his name, was a champion in his sport-won the Pan am games, won the world championship. Unlike many others in his sport who were funded by being members of military teams, he paid for his own training. He took out a second mortgage on his house and earned a place on the US team. He was one of the ones Carter's minions threatened. He missed two other teams by one or two slots. Since Israel also boycotted, he couldn't use his Jewish heritage to compete that way either. this article really doesn't discuss the coercion placed on the athletes who wanted to compete the same way Sir Seb Coe and other Brits did, but it does show that there was coercion https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/politics/1980/04/24/athletes-sue-olympic-panel-for-acquiescing-in-boycott/5f521a31-04db-4a5b-a209- 9034053cde32/ In their lawsuits, the athletes also say the Carter administration "engaged in a campaign to coerce" the Olympic Committee to comply with the boycott demand, including threats to terminate federal funding and revoke the USOC's federal tax-exempt status.
yeah because of Ross Perot, we got clinton and with clinton we got a bunch of leftwing justices and judges
True. But my arguments have nothing to do with guns. I suspect that's your only issue. I think there are many that are way more important.
Tell that to Ross Perot, Jill Stein or... Mr "what-is-Aleppo" (I even forgot his name). Third party vote has NO influence whatsoever on anything other than to waste the votes of people who are not understanding how our democracy works. If ANY third party candidate were ever to receive even a fraction of the scrutiny that a major party candidate gets, they would likely be just another unpopular candidate. RFK Jr. is popular among the clueless only because they don't know anything about him. If his positions were publicized, I don't see ANY voter block he'd be popular with.
Norman Thomas, Eugene V. Debs, George Wallace, Ross Perot all influenced the direction of the country for good or ill.
