    Boeing is reworking 50 undelivered 737 MAX jets after a supplier's employee located misdrilled holes in some fuselages, marking the latest production concern for the airplane manufacturer.

    Could it be the result of hiring by race rather than qualifications?

    Or could it be management cutting corners to increase profits?

    Or could it be bad training by mid-management?

    A combination of factors?

    Supply chain shortages and management trying to sneak by?

    When a company says they are doing DEI hires, do they really mean trying to cut payroll and hire less experienced workers

    have you ever notice a corp that outsources jobs, never thinks they need to hire more Americans for diversity, equity and inclusion... why, cost

    I am all for hiring the best for the job, regardless of race, gender or religion

    The fuselage error was done by Spirit AeroSystems, not Boeing. It was probably a member of the group you hate that discovered the fault

    nope, but cheaper employees with less experience are not as qualified... was that the real goal

    I was watching a program about that. From it's founding Boeing had the philosophy of turning out quality; first and foremost. Then in the ?90's? (I might not be remembering the date right) they went through a paradigm shift of focusing on profits. According to some ex-employees, the whole place went to ****.

    It had NOTHING to do with affirmative action. :wtf:

    Have you ever worked in a factory? Do you think only white people can build things properly? Do you think white people aren't negligent or lazy too?

    This was not a skill problem. This was a work ethic problem and it's very likely pervasive amongst the Boeing work culture. And the apathy behind it is becoming the norm across America. Companies in all industries are dealing with quality control problems. People are too distracted nowadays and they don't have any work ethic. They don't care. That's not a DEI problem.

    You know what else is a "WORK ETHIC PROBLEM"? Hiring people based on looks (which should only matter for acting/modeling/entertainment jobs). You really wanna fly in a plane with a pilot that was hired that way?

    It doesn't matter if it really was DEI. This is how the world works now. Because we know they are shoving DEI down companies throats, we assume its a possible cause when anything goes wrong. Don't want to deal with these ASSumptions? Then tell your lefty leaders that people should be hired on MERIT.

    Group I hate? Which group would that be? Do you even know how idiotic and useless your post is and can you give me your definition of hate?

    My definition of hate is when someone is so disliked you would like to see harm done to that person or even leave the planet. I've hated just one person in my life, that was over 24 years ago and was due to personal reasons. What YOUR side does is try to get people killed by SWAT teams, ambush cops, barricade them in burning buildings. and march down the street chanting you want more dead cops. Then we can't forget the peaceful people who crash planes into buildings or massacre 1200 innocent people. If none of that is enough, you guys literally broadcast that you won't vote for a certain person because you hate him. But this is what you guys do, you blame others for the things you actually do just like Biden is blaming others for the open border he created.

    As far as Spirit Aero goes, do you think woke Boeing would use third party vendors who aren't also woke?

    It doesn't matter how or why the mistakes were made, the left has pushed hiring by identity for the last few years which not only amplifies any mistakes being made because of this policy, it naturally leads to all mistakes being blamed on this policy regardless of who made them. Just look at who Biden hired and you couldn't find a better example.

    it's no different from trying to hire less qualified whites to pay less labor costs... you get what you pay for

    same with hiring from India... it's all about lower labor costs

    Only those who think everything is about race would believe race played a role in the fault of Boeing and it's mfg and design processes.
