Could you imagine what the progressives here would be posting if Bobulinksi were testifying against Trump? They would be beyond beside themselves, and the half hour "new casts" from mainstream news media outlets would devote 25 minutes to it.

 

IMO , I think the issues at hand are more suited for criminal liability than political impeachment. I think we have to find an answer to the root of the investigation - what was Hunter Biden able to provide in exchange for the money he received.

Regarding everyone taking advantage of the position, indeed. I would love to see reform take place around that.

Yeah, it's like you said, remember, he can't link anything to Ole' Joey...and BTW, if you are serious about Hunter being criminally investigated re the foreign payments, FinCEN, under Trump, Mnuchin already did that and came up with zeros, nada. Look at it this way, if you think you can get proof of illegality when Joey was out of office then it's likely better to go after Kushner for the $2B and Mnuchin for the $1B from El Saud. Maybe Agent Oranges got his cut or he'd be whining about it no?

These people know good lawyers who structure shell corps to protect and hide the money trail. Kush and $$Mnuchin and Hunter are doing it legally. You don't even have to go offshore to setup shell companies, it's serious business.

Not sure how much could actually be done about it, like could we pass a law that says if anyone gets elected to a position, no one in their family can get a job even remotely related to it? How could one tell a lot of times?
